I admit to following the different weather models for each pending/possible weather event that comes my (NE) way; especially during the Winter. I agree about the different weather models and their respective solutions. I am not married to any one particular model. Some years and with some certain pattern dynamic setups some models seem to be more accurate as I am trying to learn. It seems that the Japanese, Canadian, and Navy weather models are more accurate this year so far.

It's not a "sickness;" it's a hobby.

I thought I was just mentally ill

Thanks Drew. The plastic parts are a bit dull from getting too close to bushes, etc. I may try some of Kyle’s Meguiars plastic polish and cleaner, then some 303. I’d like to get the plastic shined up then apply new decals I bought.

Rick just a suggestion for your plastic, I have used "Wipe New" as seen on TV on the plastic on my Chevy Avalanche it works very good and lasts yes even with driving through the car wash, sitting in the sun and covered with snow and ice. It has lasted about 2 years applying twice in the last 4 years.

I知 curious about the 303 as well.

Kyle, would the Meguiars plastic polish and cleaner work on shining up the green molded plastic parts on my John Deere Zero Turn?

The parts on both sides of the seat are plastic, everything else is steel.

#2 will work great on that. Get you a terrry cloth pad you can run in your cordless drill. Smear a bit over maybe a square foot and go to town with the buffing pad. Stand back, drinking a Shiner Bock and be amazed at your handiwork. :) You don't even need #1, it has zero grit or fines and only cleans.

nice ride Lou. That driveway would make a great sledding run

sat outside on front porch, still 65 degrees, and read my book for an hour.

Kyle, something was wrong with the auto switch, while under warranty and they sent me a new one. Are you interested in this electric pressure washer. No wand or hose but free.

I probably should hold off for now, since I have a gas powered model, but you could maybe get something for it in the garage sale. The pump, if good, is worth something.

23F and snowing @ 17:45, ground is now covered.

WeatherBug claims we have "heavy snow" at the airport ... but I'm not seeing it so far.

Looks like we'll be in the deep freeze for another week, then starting next Saturday the highs will be in the 40's again. While I've been out and about over this past week I have noticed several flocks of birds that appeared to be headed north ... dunno if that's a sign of anything or not ... but I sure wouldn't be complaining if we had an early end to winter.

Did not quite get everything cut before I had to look at the inside of my eyelids ... think I lack about 7 pieces. I did get almost all of what I did cut moved into the house though, shorter stuff is on the kitchen table, longer stuff is sitting on the floor in the hall next to the door to the basement. Just have to hump it down into the utility room.

I used that HF "weedburner" propane torch a couple of times while I was out there cutting ... man ... that thing will sure warm things up in a hurry ...

... RS wife's tank ...
Nice ... looks like a very well maintained tank ...

Looks like you have some java moss growing in there (left side) ... are the rest of the plants live ... or a mix of live and artificial ?
