Buckeye hope your Dr. Can fix you up for Christmas, surgery around the holidays is tough prayers that all is well and the problems that just don't feel right is just your body healing.

Also know what you mean about "old family property" when my grandfather and his family first came to America they settled in an area where they all had property, now there are only 4 homes remaining, the original homestead where my grandmother raised 14 children after my grandfather passed at a young age, my parents home, my uncles home and mine. As the older family members passed the family wanted nothing to do with it. This was a year where both my uncle and mom passed leaving 2 homes vacant, cousin wants to sell all her dads property and my brothers want to sell my parents my wife has been spending most of the last year at the lake home we have and wants to live there permanently, I only see her on weekends now. I guess that as we age we look at things differently to me the lake house is just that a house, the other house is a home, the woods and mountains I grew up in learned to tractor, garden, ride a horse and watch my children grow. But the say change is good I guess I'll see.

Talked to my doctor, everything is ok right now. He's concerned if i go to ER, they wont have a clue what to do and could make things worse.
As long as i am feeling good, he thinks what happened was probably for the good, and will check me out tuesday. I am on antibiotics again.

Looks like 9* for the low this morning, yesterday it was 28* for the high. It snowed all day and the wind was in 20-30 range with some higher gusts. It makes it hard to tell how much snow we got. Today is going to be sunny tell the afternoon and then more snow into Christmas morning.

We are going back down to SLC some time today to spend Christmas with the daughter and grandsons.

I want to wish everyone a Marry Christmas. And to wish all that are having difficulties the very best and I hope that everything goes well.

A very warm 61 here with temps dropping all day in rain. Definitely an indoor day.

while I dropped off a hundred dollars worth of groceries yesterday to my destitute farmer neighbor, who is currently sitting on a small chair downtown in some parking lot trying to sell
collards in the rain, decided a nicer foldup chair and table would help him out, lightweight Coleman gear that was on Xmas sale. So I'm off for a ride in the drizzle to put those items just inside his front door. Kinda muddy, better make Santa's sleigh the UTV...as I head through the freshly disc'd pathway across the fields. Over the hills and through the valleys I go ho ho.....

DIfferent opinions are fine, as long as no one is throwing missiles around, however don't you think it's time all you coffee lovers gave us tea people a break ?

Boston happened 244 year ago. Can't you and Randy finally get it off your (tea) chest and let us all drink together in piece ?

We tea drinkers have already made big concessions, first strainers to catch those nasty free flowing leaves from the teapot and now we've even conceded to tea bags. Just please don't make us drink that instant stuff

Good afternoon. Yes, I'm late again - been too busy playing electronic games. I'm in great demand as I'm so easy to beat

When I did finally sneak away after lunch to do a little present wrapping and opened up the parcel which had taken a month to come all the way from America (I do my best to keep the world economy going), the inner packaging was completely empty ! A little late to go out shopping now on Christmas Eve, but I'm sure my wife won't mind too much this year as our daughter has provided more than enough to keep us all happy.

I used to drink iced tea with every meal except breakfast; no sugar in it. But now . . . I'm not even sure why, but the only time we have tea is when eating in a restaurant. Never have it at home.

My wife uses the K-pods for her coffee; currently using Victor Allen Donut Shop Blend. But since I decided those K-pods are too expensive, I've been using the old original Folgers coffee in the adapter cups. But recently I decided it just didn't have enough flavor, not strong enough, or some such, so I've started using Starbucks' Sumatra single origin DARK coffee.

Eric, my grandparents on Mothers' side (straight out of Nottinham) drank tea. Put a pot on the cook stove with a handful of loose tea in the morning and as the pot went down over the course of the day more water and more loose tea. By supper (tea) time you could melt a spoon with the stuff.

I will stick to my French Press and Dark roast coffee.
