Good morning!!!!

When we first came to this property to build there was fence wire all over the lower third of it, a lot had been stapled to trees and grown into them, I cut most of them but a ton of the wire was just under the surface of the ground or hiding in grass and weeds. It took two years and countless bush hog and mower blades to get rid of it,

Some like to drink MUD.

Yeah...I'm one of those MUD guys...

Drive and walks are cleared, as is my neighbor's drive and the whole cul-de-sac.

Time, I think, for a bit of R&R...

65°F and .04 inches rain.

While the sun shone and batteries charged I was able to assemble some of my project yesterday.

Expect more progress today

Not a full day as we have to attend a neighborhood Christmas gathering this afternoon.

Be safe
Have a great day

Washed the truck and car, bush hogged for two hours, great fun, did not hit any unmovable objects, and then went down town and did food shopping for my farmer neighbor, each Christmas I take him some bags of groceries, nice stuff he normally couldn't afford. Took that over, he was out, hope it all doesn't melt on his floor.

Think I might take the Jag for a drive, check air pressures first. Last nice day for awhile. Front is working it's way across the state.

Wife took me in town for haircut. Shes picking me up a sub now at firehouse. Then she has to get groceries.

Just about half way through wrapping wife's gifts. I have a special talent when it comes to wrapping gifts. They all look like Charley Brown did it. :confused3: Feel like taking a nap but don't have time today. Haven't had a cup of coffee in years, to hard on my tummy, but I do like a cup of tea in the winter time.

Drew, if you do get a wire hung up on your bush hog just get a cutting torch, quick and easy.

Praying for you and your wife RIP, and that you will have some smiles this Christmas.

Have a great evening. Ed

R&R is Royal Reserve and an excellent Canadian whiskey.

My stepson empties my pot of grounds on the driveway, he says that after a year of doing that the driveway will be paved. (He likes coloured water).

53 going to 65and rain this afternoon.

Randy, well said about our blessings, and RNG, you are right recognizing the delivery folks what they do.

riptides, I feel for you but glad to see you are able to appreciate the little things. Hope today is a good day for you both.

Farmer, sure hope your family and relatives get well before Christmas.

LS owner, good to hear from you and your words of wisdom. I think the answer to your question is "to keep us on our toes." Any snow on top of Sandia Peak?

Replaced a valve in one of our toilets yesterday...had been very slow to refill...wife very happy...roasted some coffee to give away, and took Coco to the river. Also installed the new modem/router that came with our DSL upgrade...Don, speed has noticeably improved...but I haven't had a chance to test to see if range is better...we had no dead spots in the house, and could pick up a signal outside, so hoping that is just as good or better.

Had just flurries on the peak, the ski area opened today only with man made snow. No measurable precipitation here for 80 days now.

So you guys like colored water? :D

I guess we are more refined, like those in the UK, and prefer a tea like beverage. I seem to not have as many PVCs with the lighter coffee, probably because less caffeine.

Don't feel bad. I got a report that Breckenridge only had less than a foot of packed powder.

Thanks for the show tip Eric. I would recommend a good set of galoshes or rubber boots. Kids love them.

Just got back from a Christmas visit to my mom's place about 2 hours south of here.

Are there certain tasks that your wife does that you have learned that it is better to be out of earshot? Folding laundry is one for us. It is occurring right now. Gotta go.

prayers for rip, BEF, and Randy.

Stay warm all, if it is cold there.

Ditto. De-caf, with a small amount of regular coffee. Almost castrated, but not totally. :)

Looks like we'll see a few more inches of snow tomorrow (Sunday, 24 December)...maybe it will be a white Christmas!!

   / Good morning!!!! #66,516
48 this morning. Currently 38. They’ve added a light dusting of snow to the forecast for tomorrow afternoon. We’ll see.

Had 2 Christmas today. Eat way too much. Even though the first one was finger foods. Got some LED lights for the kubota. Traveler brand from TSC. Man those things are heavier than I thought they’d be.

Not a coffee drinker. I like my hot chocolate. But only when it’s cold out. Rest of the time it’s RC cola ice cold.

Roy happy anniversary.

folks are sleeping in this morning, which is good...
A very warm 61 here with temps dropping all day in rain. Definitely an indoor day.

Good morning all, 33 this morning going to 41 with 20% chance of snow this afternoon, 30% tonight. Just going to take it easy today. Wrap a few more presents for wife. Boy is way beyond happy, best we can figure is that he had a dream of someone teaching him about heaven and what it is like.....????
He is non verbal so it is a guess but we are close, he wants so bad to tell us.

Wife is wanting to make sure boy and Mom have a great Christmas. She has been cooking, baking, you name it. We will never eat that much food, more to come today and tomorrow.

Praying for a lot of you lately. Those who are sick or have family sick, Those who have lost loved ones, and those who have challenging situations at home, plus some. We truly have a distant family here and I am thankful. Gave a great Christmas eve. Ed
