A few minutes ago I thought I was going to be in trouble.
Opened the cupboard door and out dropped one of the better tea mugs.:thumbdown:

I caught it only 2" from the floor. :thumbsup:


Handle then rotated at what seemed a snail's pace and before I could stop it, the tile floor beat me to it.

Just told wife.

Nature called a bit early today! Cold sitting here too.
28° going to 40s today. Ordered some spot mirrors from Amazon and a cabin filter. I fell in love with the factory spots built into the Ford Edge.
Woke up to the 18 year old cat, Charlie (female) ripping through the house at 3:30 this morning. The things that go on when we are sleeping!

35 outside this AM. Here in NYC. I must say my secret room has quite a view. I think I am looking at the Harlem River. This place sits on a big cliff and has a nice park across the street. I get to watch trains roll by on the other side of the bank. Wife is sleeping pretty deeply now for the last hour or so. I found a cup and got another round courtesy of Kerig. Hope all have a great day.

Good morning all, 24 this morning going to 48 and sunny. Got some trim work done that I needed to get done and that was about it. Tired yesterday. The RX delivery guy stopped in last night just to bring the boy a present. Gave him a little tractor on a truck and trailer. The boy got so excited that he did not get settled until after midnight. Hope to get some work some in the shop today, time will tell.

All our prayers are sent to NYC this morning, first for Riptide's wife and second for the continued health of that Keurig machine...
I found that bringing in donuts consistently to the nurses always helped...

43 going to 58 in mixed clouds, rain is out of here, probably about an inch in total. Just fine for the grass seed.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 27° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 34° with cloudy skies. Got all the parts together for the shelf project. But never got it done. Maybe I can get started on it today. Been spending way to much time on phone with Humana Pharmacy for wife's prescriptions. Email they send are all over the place. When you call the people you talk too cannot find the info that matches emails. My blood is already up this morning just from yesterday evenings emails.
Wife and I got SS raises. But Medicare ate it all and then some. Good thing we have other income.

Riptides, good to hear good news from you. I've always found watching trains roll by to be soothing...hope you do.

Speaking of the new tax code, I ran a model yesterday on the Wall Street Journal website and found that my wife and I will see our taxes reduced quite a bit. Hope all of you do, too...I think you will.

RNG, stew looks really great, and I like your plating. My wife is now getting curious about the IP...maybe a gift for an upcoming event rather than Christmas.

Split firewood yesterday for a little while...first time using the splitter this season...took only 21 pulls to get it going...which is good for this engine.

Drew, It’s not in effect yet so he can relax until next year on the prep fee. The double deduction way more than covers the preparer fee, maybe that’s just because I’m poor. My daughter in law is a corporate comptroller and VP of finance, she’s wound up about the coming changes. But hers is in a good way, they are giving across the board raises and $1000 bonuses.

21 pulls! I’d already have drawn down in it with my shotgun!
Shortest daylight but sunset has already gotten 3-4 minutes later. Sunrise will continue to get later until early January.
