I like greens. We used to get beet greens cooked up. Always thought of them as sort of special but in likely hood it was just my parents stretching the food dollar. Seem to recall turnip greens maybe once, would have to surmise my Dad must not have liked as I don稚 recall a repeat even from our garden. Personally, I was never that crazy about the turnips, but they were a staple.

I like the turnips better than the greens, I値l eat them raw like an apple or cooked down until soft.

I could see this happening if the tank was leaking...or if there was spillage when refueling.
The article doesn't provide enough details to determine what happened. I hope there's a follow up with more info, but I doubt we see that

Snow plowing all done until the next time. I started the tractor at 10 then came inside and had my cereal breakfast, then went at it. A couple of stops to visit with neighbours, fueled and greased and I am done at 1 P.M.

Hmm, I have not put snow equipment on tractor yet. 1” of snow fell while I was winterizing garden pond. I think I should move snow equipment to top of the project list.

I like Poke Salat, turnip greens, beet greens, and even spinach, although I'll admit we don't have them nearly often enough to suit me. And I like turnips, boiled, fried, and especially in the potato/turnip/homemade egg noodle & milk soup that I occasionally make.
