You live in a very crowded area filled full of self important people who all think they should get there first and apparently none
of them took driver training.
Did the DC Beltway for 7 years...

The beltway around DC has improved with the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the express lanes, but still a PITA.
Clouds moved in and kept our temps up in the low 40’s, so no frost (friat) for us.

Sounds like all you folks live up north. 68 degrees here and overcast with the NWS forecasting a high of 71 today; with a 30% chance of rain after 3 p.m. That's about as close together as you can get the high and low for the day. So I'm on my third cup of coffee with no plans for today except a quick trip to the grocery store this morning, and going to take a neighbor to his doctor this afternoon.

Good morning! 65˚ heading to 80˚. Can't decide which project to do, paint porch railing, caulk outside house trim or tractor dirt work.

Costco has their kitchenAid stand mixers on sale and I always wanted one to make bread so I picked one up yesterday. I was looking on youtube at several attachments to knead the dough and there appears to be the J hook or the spiral hook.
It came with the spiral but I can see some definite advantages with the J. Does anyone use a mixer to mix and knead bread? Any preference?

I seriously think I may need some help. I've been buying more kitchen appliances last year than tractor implements.
I wonder If I should list these under my avatar with the tractor implements: tamale making machine, dehydrator, air frier, stand mixer

I plead that I didn't have my coffee... Lol
Course i seldom drink coffee, so of course it was ann friat, not frost on my windshield. Fortunately i stay off the beltway, used to drive it.

I used the J hook. I think that was the only dough hook they had at the time. We had the food grinder, ice cream maker, and all those attachments and used them quit a bit for awhile, but gradually used it less, and we have limited kitchen countertop space, so we eventually gave the mixer and all the attachments to one of our daughters.
