Good afternoon all, 83 now, don't know what it was this morning. Mother In Law came today and got the grass mowed. Made it from the back yard to the front and the mower ran out of gas. Hard to remember when a tank lasts for a a bunch of cuttings. Praying for PR and mexico.

More iphone time. Today AT&T approved my unlock so I did that procedure. Kinda a PITA - backup, erase, restore, and then set stuff up again. Not looking to sell this one anytime some, but prefer it be unlocked when I do. Other 2 are unlocked and ready to sell or pass on.

Upgrades yesterday went well - almost.
Wife and I have shared an Apple ID for years. Basically set up all devices the same so as to share Contacts, calendars, photos etc and then log into some personal apps. Has worked well until yesterday when I somehow managed to mangle her Health data. A new feature of the Apple Heath app is storage in iCloud. I’m guessing that is the culprit as we ended up with both our data combined. I think I managed to sorta fix that by using 2 Apple ID and doing the Family share for contacts etc. but she is not happy that her Heath Mate app appears to have lost days of her walking data. Needless to say, I’m not the most favored person in the house, likely falling in behind all the dogs and the cat. Would have been so much better if only my data got screwed up!!!!

Been raining on and off all morning. We really need the rain having been in drought status. Likely a challenge for some to accept that knowing we’ve 70 inches of rain so far this year.

It was about 2:30 p.m. this afternoon when my wife mentioned that we got some rain last night after I went to bed. So I went out and checked my rain gauge, and sure enough, it had about .09" of rain in it; first rain we've had since August 27 and wasn't even enough to settle the dust around here, so it wasn't noticeable at all at daylight this morning.

Speaking of grocery stores....didn't I hear that Amazon is going to lower Whole Foods pricing by 43%??? Too bad I don't have one near me or in College Station.

Almost forgot...Zenni glasses, I've had good luck with 4 pairs so far.....did I mention cheeeep on price? A hometown optometrist will fit you in better glasses, but at about 10 times the price.

Looks like my company has another project to send me too, so hopefully it will work out. Will be a little different, but testing a product we manufacture. I will be only tester initially, but goal is to build a test team under me that i will manage. Should be more stable, i hope.

Good evening all. 77F this morning, humid, windy and sky partly cloudy. Bird's rain fell apart before it got to me, plenty thunder and lightning, felt a few drops but no water in gauge this morning. High temp 96F clouds cleared out and wind hit about 15-20 mph. Men's meeting this morning then bike ride then worked on boat seat. Not enough of the old seat bottom to use as a pattern, so used the foam, after getting the new bottom cut looks like the plywood was smaller than the foam by about 1/4 inch. will have to do a bit of trial and error :confused2::ashamed:

PJ sorry about the cat, I think I never got more than 6 years with the outside cat, till the last one, left him with the neighbor was afraid the trip would be too traumatic for him.

Made it to 89 today. About the same tomorrow. Currently 82. 2.5 inches of rain Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Thunderstorms dumped it fast enough the wife had to turn around and go out the backway Tuesday. We live on a loop. Water over the county road and up to the blacktop on the state highway. We deal with this a couple of times a year.

Youngest sons one year checkup went good. Starting him on almond milk as he hasn't out grown his dairy allergy yet. He's eating table food almost as well as his older brother. Very independent. Starting to walk. Up to about 3 steps with no assistance.

Ready for birds Friday. Will turn on heat. Tomorrow. Finished canning green beans today. 46 pints. Wife said she didn't care to see another green bean. They're still blooming. Think dad is going to pick some.

Good morning all. We will be dogless this morning for the first time in several years as we get to leave Max at the vet's for a few hours while they knock him out to give his teeth a clean. My wife was aware that small dogs like him can be prone to plaque build up, so in the past she bought what were supposed to be tooth cleaning chews, though to no avail as he just sniffs them then buries them outside when he thinks no one is looking.


Buckeye, glad your back has eased enough to let you return to work and that a new project has come along. What type of product will they be paying you to try and break ?

64 high of 84 today chance of a t Storm. Had a few around yesterday but not too many hit or miss. Working out in remote area today no cell service
