My wife tried that with me, she stopped along I 40 in Arkansas and threw out a Big Mac, but I grabbed the keys on my way out the door!:D

70.9F and mostly cloudy @ 11:30, high today of 78F.

Rechecked the valves on the Kubota yesterday ... all them were pretty close, tweaked one or two. Went a lot faster second time around.

Then I fixed the garage door at the shop so I could get it out ... lift cable had come off one side.

After that I continued moving a big pile of gravel from the south side of the polebarn.

Wife went out to get dinner ... car died on the way back ... so I had to run out and rescue her. Was able to get it to start by pulling the negative battery cable, turning the key on on (then off), and then sticking negative cable back on.

It's been throwing an "EPC" code so it will probably have to go into the dealer for a diagnostic, since it requires their software to accurately decode what's going on.

Hope our Texas friends are staying safe.

Hmmm ... looking at the National Hurricane Center's forecast track for Harvey, it sure looks like we might eventually get a taste of it up this way ...

TROPICAL STORM HARVEY

We could sure use some rain ... but I don't think I want 24" worth ...

72°F and .23 inches rain.

Wife has small cavity for dentist to work on later.

Be safe
Have a great day

Good Morning!!!! Already 91F @ 9:25AM. Abundant sunshine. High 104F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Yesterday it hit 107F and it chased me out of the garage before noon. Predictions are for +100F highs the rest of the week. A little more tinkering with the shop plans, then ordered some shorts and t-shirts made from wicking material at Amazon. If that doesn't bring cooler weather, nothing will.

Glad are Texans are staying high and dry. Looks like Harvey's gonna hang around for a few more days...

Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start!

Wasn't there a lawsuit filed against BMW in the last few years for keeping their diagnostic information proprietary? I think BMW lost, and makers of aftermarket OBDC readers have evolved rapidly to exploit the new information. A good one is still not cheap, but a good independent should still be able to read the codes. If they can't, maybe they're not doing enough business to afford the latest and greatest diagnostic equipment?

He got a 18 inch log stuck in his processor, it was about 10 feet long,

talk about indigestion, you know what happens when you take too big a bite! :D

Wife has small cavity for dentist to work on later.
never fear, they'll make it larger, and the bill too...

finished about three hours of mowing and got most of the place done.
with all the rain coming lawn would have been a jungle by end of week.
Rain gauge says 7.4 inches so far this month. About our average during the wetter times.
Now add another three to five and we will be damp for sure. Big circular pattern off shore.
At least I think it's moving, don't stick around buddy, we didn't leave the light on for you...

Congratulations to the Texas team for winning the US Little League Championships. Some of those kids
were playing while they knew their homes were in harm's way and they came from way behind and won.
Good for them. Greenville NC, runner up, 25 miles West of me,
is having a welcome home parade for the local team, who themselves were true winners to make
it that far.

No rush at the grocery store this morning. Glad I got there early. One reason it wasn't very busy is a whole lot of their customers are now going to the brand new Food Lion across town, with added departments, more cooked food, definitely an upgrade, and this morning two supermarket employees thanked me for coming in. This is a closer supermarket to me, and once you learn where everything is, going through that learning curve again would take some real motivation. Now where are the prunes this week?...

what's really worrisome is that it's sticking around all week in Texas, then headed North.
If it's anywhere near the Gulf, it will scoop up more moisture and bring it right up to you.

and the East Coast seems to have a NorEaster brewing. 30-40mph winds East of here,
geez Toppop, you may have round two if this comes North to you.
