Warm this morning 47* partly cloudy with some wind. Going to the mid 70's and a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

Setting on the deck and the hummingbirds have been coming in to see what my coffee cup has to offer. Need put the feeders out today.

Got a deal on Harbor Freight receiver hitch. It had been returned by someone and was priced at $31.00. Went to check out and the manager said he would lower it to $20.00. And I still got the 20% off. Made my day.

Last week my lady just took her car to Sam's Club and complained about uneven wear on her 3 yr old tires. They gave her huge discount on her existing tires and she wound up with a new set of tires for less than $300 ($890 w/o discount). I don't think I could get that discount had I brought it to the tire place.

57°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 82° today. Looks like we're going to get into the upper 80s this weekend, then sunny and 79° all next week. Nice.

Had a third party consultant come in at work yesterday to do an impartial Internal Audit for us before our ISO Certification Audit. He was here all day and did some serious digging. Waiting on the official report on Friday, but already have some good stuff to work on until then. Very helpful having outside eyes.

Speaking of digging, The Wife just sent me a text that she was trying to dig holes to plant the four new cherry trees she bought yesterday, but just can't do it. She's kind of tiny, and can't get the shovel into the ground very well. I told her to get the boy out there to do it, since he didn't get up to go to work today, but she can't get him out of bed either. So, looks like I'm digging holes when I get home this evening. (sure could use Drew's PHD about now. :laughing: )

Yesterday my son turned 41, time sure flies! The cycle of life has some bumps in the road, my dad was 41 when he died. Not being morbid, just noting things that come by in our lives.

Nothing morbid about that, Randy. My Father died at 57. I'll be 51 this year. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about that lately, too. We all do.

Yep, I started seeing Chevy truck ads and Cascade detergent ads today. I look at TBN on my iPad using the TBN iPad app.

Nothing morbid about that, Randy. My Father died at 57. I'll be 51 this year. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about that lately, too. We all do.

Last weekend I came home and visited my parents. My dad is almost 90 and he has changed so much in the last few months. I visit them several times a year yet each time I think about the little time we have left with him, my heart sinks.

Cottage residents have home inspector today at the home they have under contract. They have asked me to take a look at the solar electric. Actually I'm quite familiar with the house, watched as it was built as the current owners are friends.

I just use my Windows PC and browser, no change, no ads. Guess it is another reason to avoid iPad and similar.
