31° at daybreak, mid 40's later. Had a nice visit with a good friend yesterday, something I don't do enough of.

Good Morning! 47F @ 8:00AM. Partly cloudy skies. High 54F. Winds NE at 10 to 15 mph.

Busy day at the mechanic's yesterday. Radiator shroud fit up test showed us that we'd have to mount the fans from the front of the shroud to have enough clearance, but the mod looks like it'll work. Also got the pop top bolted down, and some sound proofing sheet re-taped with hopefully stronger tape. His crew got the front suspension back on and the rear is almost done, so soon it'll be a roller again. Still no sign of any work on the engine though.

Will work on the phone antenna/ethernet conduit today, and hopefully get that done. Should be sunny, and the extra light is always appreciated.

TGIF gang!

33 this morning and headed to 41 today. Had a few flurries over night. Nothing to stick.

Will try to finish cow pen and order some gravel. Pen is mostly scraped out but needs some edge work. Now to decide what size of rock to use.
4's make a good base but are clean so no packing and when cleaning manure out they end up spread.
610's pack hard. Just wondering if they'll hold enough base. Or end up being mixed in. Pen designs will be reworked this spring as I don't have enough room to background calves. And market is dictating it wants heavier calves.

Good Morning. At 1025 it's clear, 48F with 60% humidity. Forecast high of 56F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 39F tonight.

Since I was 113 pages behind, I just skipped to the end. Hope everyone is doing well.

Larro

27F this morning.. still snow on ground even though it has been near or slightly above 40F during the daytime the last week. Forecast shows temps around freezing for next week..

Sounds like most are keeping busy with chores and errands..

I finally took a serious look at leaking shower faucet in master bath last night... we have had leaky shower faucets before so when we put this shower in, we paid a little more and thought we got a better faucet. Thinking about it, I think it has been leaking almost since day1. I never paid much attention when the water was shut off after a shower and the drips kept coming for awhile from the showerhead and before I worked on it, it kept dripping. The cartridge was a bear to get out, I would have given up but we had bought a similar faucet for the other bathroom when we redo the shower/tub and I watched mfg video on removal. I finally got it out and used the cartridge from the new unused faucet as a replacement. Leak free, shower is dry this morning, YAY.

I emailed mfg support last night and this morning I had a reply saying my replacement cartridge had been ordered free of charge and I should have it in 7 business days. Why did I procrastinate? I'm sure my wife would have an answer if I asked her, but don't plan on asking... LOL

Nice to hear from you.

I did stop in to say hello over there. Not much going on in the garden. Margie did ask for Broccolinie {sp}, but I haven't found any seeds.

Larro's back. Some garden and camping post.

I'm still staying at the camp a couple nights a week. Also try hiking at least one day a week. I had a close call the other morning when I was making breakfast {instant coffee in a collapsible cup and grits and eggs in a ziplock freezer bag}. My alcohol stove had gone out, so after making sure it was cool, I added more alcohol. When I put the lid back on my fuel bottle, it was hot, and I was dripping fire on the dry pine needles where I was sitting. I poured the coffee water on it to put it out. It did melt the lid down into the bottle before I got it out. No real damage done.

Where were you? We were checking the obituaries.

I'm still kicking, still at the Larro Ranchero, but there has been a lot going on. Not much time for the inter-webs.

Good morning all. Above freezing this morning and likely to stay that way for us all this coming week. My wife is off to collect our grandson this morning, so for a couple of days I will have a helper when it comes to feeding the sheep and can put to one side the Still to do list of jobs without any feeling of guilt. Life doesn't get any better than this.
