Good morning!!!!

not drinking coffee: headaches sorry Ron, sorry it wasn't worth it. I'm a grump in the morning when I have to fast for bloodwork. If someone took me off my arthritis medicine I think like the Tin Man I would just grind to a halt. Might take half a can of Kroil to get me going again...;)

I believe it's time for a full baby report.

Mostly, I have this vision of you bicycling down the road in 110 degree weather with heat waves shimmering off the pavement. Do you get cooked out there?

RNG, you really have been working hard on that van. It didn't have a mouse house in it, you had a mouse condo association.
And all of us are thinking that you shouldn't breathe that stuff and wash your hands a lot.
Isn't that where the plague came from?...
Not sure what's in Bondo either, or paint fumes, or...safety first. Lot of dust, vapors and chemicals in auto bodywork.

77 already going up to 90, showers coming in at noon, messing up my orchard spraying project. Going to work in the barn, maybe sharpen the blades on the two mowers. I got them well greased but late summer tough field grass is pretty abrasive and dulling. Am mowing my field now with the lawn mower because the rototiller
lives on the back of the tractor for a while more. 8 acres to mow, sure is nice having help. I mowed about half the lawn last night, the straight parts where I'm basically along for the ride, in the cooler temps of dusk, happily with no Zika bugs buzzing around.

Now RS, you be careful with those public weeds this summer. Officer Bob will write you a citation, and when you get to Court,
somehow the Judge will be that criminal buddy of yours, smiling down at you with nasty intent, oh what a nightmare...;) Justice run amuck.

Which reminds me that I grew up running around inside court houses; my mother clerked for several judges, lots of big doors in those places
to a little boy, and most you for sure could not go in. And i didn't, until I started getting called for jury duty thirty years later
and then it was like homecoming, same courthouse. Always considered serving on a jury an honor and a civic duty. And since I had been an insurance
underwriter for many years, trained in getting at the truth, and a child of two contract lawyers, the whole process fascinated me. Still does.
The Truth Will Set You Free
Usually.
have a safe and happy day.

Good Morning! 77F @ 4:30AM. Abundant sunshine. High 91F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Woke up an hour or so ago with heartburn, pizza does that to me sometimes...:duh:

Hopefully have a chance to take a look at the weather station today, but if it's the temp sensor again, I'll be following that Rainman link, Steve. Maybe it's time to step up to a Vantage Pro 2, but which version? What's all that extra money really buying? :confused3:

Drew, I gave up on living a long life years ago. With all the industrial solvents, radiation, and bad habits I've accumulated, I'm just happy waking up each morning.

Those sound like some great classes, Ron. And fantastic ways to sell more guns. Have fun!

Speakin' of fun, Ed sounds like he's about to have a great time with his new welder. Best thing I ever learned about TIG is to keep the doors closed. Otherwise birds fly in and crap all over my work, or at least that's what it looks like when I'm done. I guess that's why I have so many grinders!

Lenny, was that flight supposed to be a redeye?

Kyle, I ended up with Reckhorn ABX, the 0.080" stuff. It's on sale now, and was the only damping product I looked at that got consistently good reviews. After using some of it for the first time yesterday, I can see why. It's very sticky, but not so much that it makes a mess trying to get it into the correct places. It bends around corners easily, and cuts with regular scissors, too. But that's just the first layer. I'll be adding a thin foam isolation layer, then Mass Loaded Vinyl sheet. Here's a pretty good How To I'm using for guidance. Yeah, not cheap, but in this case you really do get what you pay for.

Started putting up the spray booth yesterday, too. The frame's in place, and I have a way to hang the 4' LED shop lights worked out. These lights each have a 110V pigtail, and I still need to work out how to position them so the daisy chain works out. Got two of them hung, and I'll be going out in a few minutes to see how they look in the dark. It'll be too hot to paint in the daylight for the next week or so, and likely too windy for the flimsy plastic I'll use to cover the frame as well, so the lights are kinda important. I actually hope to see better with them, as the sun casts shadows that make it difficult to see the paint as it lays down.

Hang in there gang, Friday's comin'!

Rick, I sent you a pm. Don't know if your alert is working or not, but I've been having trouble with mine...

Have you adjusted to this heat yet after your vacation?

Hi Kyle, I use the TBN iPad app and it doesn't give any alerts on PM's.

Seems even hotter here after a week of low 80's. Relief may be coming next week.

Good morning! The morning coolness has left for a while, 78˚ heading to 102˚. Still waiting for Buppies mid August rain and it looks to be showing in the forecast for Monday - 40%, for me that is 60% that we will not have rain.

Mid August means we start to prepare the cow field for our VFD annual Fish Fry fund raiser dinner and auction. Because of the rising price of catfish we have had to raise the price to $10 a plate - a generous plate of catfish, potato salad, beans, hush puppies and iced tea. The Fd was very reluctant to go up from $9 to $10 because it just seemed like that double figure would be more than people would want to pay for a meal. I assured them that with no tax, tea with the meal, and no tip it was like going out to eat for $7, besides this is a fund raiser, the only VFD fundraiser of the year, and the alternative would be to ask the county to levy a tax. We will see if the regular 1200 attendance drops.

HA I know what you mean Myself I just have the base wireless model and it does more than I need!! I would like to have the Solar sensor for my weather site but just never spent the extra money. The units with the fan are supposed to be more accurate with Temp but this also has to do with where and how it's mounted. Here is some good info if you are not already aware of best mounting practices.http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/CWOP_Guide.pdf Good Luck!!

72.5F and very humid ... high today predicted to 86F, HI 99F ... chance of a thunderstorm.

Closest local wx station (a Davis Instruments 6152 Vantage Pro 2) has been down since 7/21/16 ... mebbe the owner has given up on it.

Got a couple more pieces of 10 gauge cut and welded in on the side panels of soil screen frame last night.

Thanks for the URL. Pretty clear I can't get a 30 rating on my site, but I can do better.

Just ordered a Vantage Pro2 Plus (6162) from BoatersEmporium.com. Google shopping helped me save a few bux, they don't charge sales tax, and I'll be able to re-use the console and WeatherLink from my broken Vantage Vue, all of which helped take some of the sting out of the price. Hopefully the modular nature of the Pro2 will make future repairs more affordable than they were on the Vue.:confused3:

75 this morning and headed to 89 today. Although I really don't believe that, its already 86. :).

Have a fairly easy but busy day. First is family and baby pictures. Then dog to vet. Then preschool orientation for the oldest. Did manage to get the mowing finished yesterday and a tile along the driveway dug out. The neighbors field washes in and stops up the tile every couple of years. Nice top soil. But I need to order some parts for the weedeater.

Drew. Baby and momma are doing just fine. Although momma would like more sleep. Oldest still wants nothing to do with his brother. I figure that will change. May take a few years.

65 on the way to mid 80s today, cooler nights are a blessing, all of us are sleeping much better.

Trying to figure out some camping trips (had given up earlier this year, but then our weekends opened up, but too late to get reservations at the campgrounds we wanted) last night, had decided to make some calls into private ones after finding all the state parks full up. Just before calling last night, my wife decided to check one more time and someone had cancelled, we were able to get a reservation at one that we like..

Hope you find a fun project with your new toy/ ahummm, tool I mean.

Can you send us some cooler weather please? Pretty Please?

RNG, that sound deadening stuff works great. Some brands and thicknesses are ridiculously high priced though. Me no likey mouse poo. Hantavirus anxieties.

Sounds like a great "back up" mower, but I'd bet you'd prefer driving it forward. :)

How many hours on it?
No really, I like backing up!
