Coffee is done brewing. 61° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 88° with chance of thunderstorms in late afternoon. Doctors visit yesterday went well. No more bandages and keep the lifting below 10 lbs for at least another week. Made it this far. Walking and rest on the agenda today.
Txdon, hope Whipper had a good nights rest.
Kyle, also check out Ghostery.
Thomas, enjoy the sunrise.
Good Morning All.

Glad you are getting better

Thomas, it was a nice sunrise here for a few minutes, then too many clouds...probably get rain as the temps jump from 72 to 92.

Started on the 800/900 hour maintenance on my tractor (started doing the 900 hr, and realized I had a few of "every one year," and "every two year" things to do. Got the lube done, and the oil and filter and front axle case oil changed. The manual said the front axle capacity is 6.9 quarts, but I only got about 4 quarts in before it started overflowing from the check plug...and that was after stopping the fill process several times to let the fluid settle and the air out. Don't remember that problem last time.

Ron, good news on your surgery recovery.

Sunrise here was beautiful still is as sun makes its way up in the east coming up over the ocean beautiful sight indeed no wonder some say this is paradise. Ocean is very calm today vs yesterday's chop

OK, We just call it barbecue chicken. Lot of it where we just moved from, in rockingham county Va poultry is huge and a ride to to most small towns will take you past 2 or 3 groups selling barbecue chicken halves. Ed

You are making me hungary and everybody is still asleep in my little world.
Outside it appears everybody still sleeping as well

Good morning all. 67 here this am going to 87 with a 30% chance of thunderstorms. I am going o try to get a load of furniture from the storage unit before it gets hot and unload it a little at a time. Then do some fixing inside in the ac, might even go for a swim with the wife. :)

Don, Praying that your pup doesn't get any infection, take it easy today and rest up a bit.

Ed

If I was industrious would be in kitchen making breakfast but somebody said last night that we would visit the eggs up grill and since breakfast is her favorite meal that's what we will do. Three little deuces will suit me fine with unsweetened tea

Was reading another forum earlier one about cars another passion but this one is monitored by Europeans. The people on that forum appear to be highly educated and very car smart but are arguing and spewing out vile, one of the very reasons I stay here love of tractors and the people. Drew,Sam and others all top notch each and everyone who would stop to help another at the drop of a hat amazing truly amazing. Sort of restores ones faith in mankind

Good Morning! 62F @ 4:30 AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 91F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

I bet Eric's sleepin' in this morning. 'Bout time he got some beauty rest?

Don, hope Whipper has a fast recovery. It's tough when your little buddy's hurtin'! Trailer tire blowouts and red ants; man you sure know how to have a good time!

Ron, sounds like you've been following doctor's orders. Milk your convalescence for as long as you can!

Drew, that kid's probably gonna make some mistakes with your equipment. I think we all did at his age. Thank him if he owns up to it, berate him if he doesn't, and show him what he did wrong in hopes he doesn't do it again. The important thing is that nobody gets hurt.

WNG, same thing happened on my Kubota. That front axle doesn't drain very well, but it runs slow so I don't think there's any harm in overfilling it, other than making something of a mess.

I love watchin' sunrises from the beach, sipping a nice cup of coffee. Yer makin' me jealous:laughing:, Buppies!

As for me, couldn't sleep, tried to watch some Netflix, but the satellite connection went out. Rebooted the modem to no apparent effect, then it started working again a few minutes later. Man I HATE satellite Internet. Had the same problem last week. Called tech support, guy says it's congestion in my area. Has me restart my router, then he says no, I meant your modem. No joy. Then he says restart your computer. I tell him the computer's fine, so are the other three in the house, and so is the LAN, and the problem's on his end. He mumbles something, then says he has to check something. Comes back and says it's the modem, and he has to restart it from his end, and that'll make it download a software upgrade. Whatever he did worked. That's about the umpteenth time I've had to do that particular dance. Folks, if you've got any other choice for Internet, TAKE IT!

More sanding today...

Oh, and happy Hump Day!

75 this morning and headed to 89 today.

Boy has a follow up appointment this morning. Then back to finish some maintenance at the chicken coops. Yesterday's morning showers really put a damper on things. :). So I get to finish that today. Then will try to get back to the bathroom remodel.

Drew. My new employee is in the same boat. Just got his license and is eager to work. I turned the mowing and weedeating over to him. Except some steep parts he's not comfortable on and I do them. So far he just stays hung up. Usually pull him out once a week. But then I told him he'd get hung up. I do. I've had to mention some safety stuff to him like keep his hand off the mitter saw trigger if he has his other hand under the blade. I've tried to express the dangers we deal with everyday but in a way as to not scare him. I want him to respect the dangers not fear them. When you fear them that when you'll get hurt.

Don get whipper better. Then roast some hogs.

Buppies enjoy what left of the week. Vacations are never long enough.

71F and sunny @ 09:00 ... high of 89F predicted for today. Good possibility of thunderstorms tonight, tomorrow, and Friday. We need the rain.

Finished "mowing" in town yesterday. Was hot and humid (for here) so it was no fun. Daizhan showed up and helped out, so that made it a little easier.

Also got weeds sprayed, used 2 gallons of roundup. After they die back I'm going to hit all the cracks in the pavement with Pramitol 25E to see if we can keep the weeds at bay for a while. Also plan to spray the lawn areas in there with Trimec 899 after we get our next rain.

Couldn't get the LawnBoy to start, fuel was from last year. Drug that home to see if I can get to start reliably.

After I got home moved some log rounds into piles and put the bucket on and started moving the big compost pile up by the shop over to the edge of the garden area by the property line where it hopefully will be out of the way. Will try and finish that this morning before it gets hot out.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable and productive day.

Since the post office doesn't guarantee delivery in a specified time, I suggest you ask the township for the delivery receipt from that "registered" letter/bill.

You might consider cutting before they send the notice?
