Hopefully fixed leaking tire on golf cart. Tire is aging for sure and a crack in sidewall. Tire has had a slow leak as long as I've owned the cart, but yesterday it would hold when pumped. Put in some Tire Science sealant from HD seems to be holding so far. Never used it before.

David, most of the time I've had slow leaks it's been a loose valve stem. If it's not that I think you'll be looking for a new tire soon.
I wonder if Harbor Freight sells them? I've had good luck with Kenda tires.

Alternatively, how about putting a tube in it?

both Amazon and Sears have a lot of listings for golf cart tires.

Elsewhere there was rotten wallboard (the original drywall - not cement board - from around 1970) ... kinda nasty with some black mold in spots.

Seriously, that stuff can make you ill.

Good evening all. 60F and rain this morning, 3 in overnight. Made all the way to 66F and another in of rain today. Went to town, have a power cable to replace on stepdaughters golf cart, had leaves piled up on gutter guard, got a bike ride in during the 2 hours of sunshine we had today. Got a call from work and more consulting added to list.

David, this is the ticket. Won't put a tire on the Gator with out this. Stops all those thorns from poking holes in them.

Work day is through about 150 tons of stone left then paving. Another employee quit today the one who could take the place of the one who quit oh my I'm in a pickle hopefully want ads show something. Hold onto them all winter then boom off to greener pastures. We shall see locality from both sides a thing of the past. Biggest hole no one to run other side of paver hopefully someone shows up. Lots of work out for bid so that keeps me busy estimating at night. Three jobs waiting now

Probably should have mentioned, these aren't the usual golf cart tires.



If this doesn't hold, will likely look for a tube.

I have used the Walmart aerosol type before, but was in HD so thought I would try the Tire Science.

Picked up 12 sheets of 1/2" cement board today. Back to cottage remodel tomorrow.

Definitely dog of some sort. Bear toes are all aligned and angled down from side to side.

Greetings from Evanston, WY. Spend yesterday dodging rain showers all the way down to Baksersfield only to discover my billfold was still on the headboard at home. Managed to persuade BofA to let me withdraw a few bux to make it back and slept in my own bed one last time. This morning dawned cold and clear so I restarted the trip going east instead of south, picking up I-80 in Reno. Only one brief shower in the mountains east of Salt Lake, and here I am.

Typical concrete block wall old motel, clean but nothing fancy, can hear every word from next door. Tasty but gristly steak for dinner, a beer, and now it's off to bed for another early start. Snow showers forecast for overnight, so I'm hoping I can find my scraper in the morning.

As I sit here typing I'm still swaying side to side, just like I did all day in the F250. :laughing:
