Glad to hear Don is ok.

Anyone know how Irv is doing ?

Kyle, pics of that nesting hutch if you get a chance.

MFW, great to hear the marriage is going well. Your kids will come around eventually.

Good Morning. 0905, sunny, 51F with 53% humidity. {low of 32F this morning} Forecast high of 64F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 38F tonight.

Heavy frost this morning at 0700 when I got up. The hose was frozen when I tried to wash off my windshield. But my underground greenhouse worked great. I moved the smoked glass section before I came to work, and all the little plants looked just fine. Now to figure out a way to keep Bad Word out, but still let the sun in. Maybe this was the last frost and I can just set everything where it's going to go.

David, MFW, good to hear from you.
Eric, thanks for the raised bed idea. I've made rocket stoves and fireplaces with cob {clay, sand and straw}, but now I foresee a raised bed made with that noble material.
Don, {in my best worried Mamma voice}, "what are you doing making us worry. You could have broken a leg or something for all we know."

You guys have a good one,

Larro

65°F and only .1 inches rain last 4 hours.

Got my deck frame painted and mostly assembled.

Lunch with the retired military group today, then HD to buy Trex for the deck.

Be safe
Have a great day.

RNG - yup, quite comfortable. The flail throws less than the rotaries. I have 2 areas I mow within 3ft alongside the house where there are 6ft sliding doors, never a concern with the flail.

I just got back from a NCL cruise to Mexico, Belize and Honduras - and survived! I did not see any mosquitos because in port I did the snorkeling excursions.

I had a choice of - free speciality dining, free drinks, free wifi, or free shore excursions, I chose the shore excursions. Water temp 82-83˚

well you know Don, if you were going to be MIA, you sure had a good excuse.
Looks like you had a great time.
Are we going to see a pic of you on a Honduran tractor with a rum swizzle in each hand?

With the US travel warning at a "Critical High Alert" I did not venture inland and there were not any submerged tractors, but the snorkel trip did include free rum!

This was my first time leaving from Houston, instead of Galveston and it was much quicker and the logistics were great - walk to car. If you are not from TX and want to vacation in the port city then Galveston would be better. About 3/4 of the passengers were not from Texas. The best plant based food was in the India section of the buffet. There were no hidden steps like Carnival and my wife did not break anything. Doesn't get much better - but wait it did - I had my birthday on the ship and a passenger opened his door as we passed by and said they were given a complementary bottle of champaign, they did not drink and gave it to me.

We are just glad you are back safe. I will tell my cruise friends about leaving from Houston.

Had a nice day to get caught up on some stuff. Feeds unloaded and creep feeder is full. Bull is separated from cows for the year, I hope. Now wait about 6 weeks and preg check. Blood draw from the tail. Freezer is emptied and airing out. I can still smell that stuff. Hair cut was gotten for me but not boy. He went to sleep while I was walking birds. We'll get his next week sometime. Now must finish birds for the day and see if wife wants to go out for dinner. I don't feel like cooking and I know she doesn't.

Don. Glad you had a good cruise. I've heard it's addicting.

Worked on one tractor a bit, did a little work on a hair salon job I'm doing at my pace, no rush and nice pocket shot. I can't sit around and do nothing, might as well get paid! About 45° today, 60's tomorrow.

Thawed out and BBQ'ed all three meat trio. Beef hamburgers, pork chops, and Texas HEB grocery store handmade chicken poblano queso sausage. https://www.heb.com/product-detail/h-e-b-poblano-cheddar-chicken-sausage/1392270
Since I love Tony Chachere'shttps://www.tonychachere.com/, I liberally apply it to most all my BBQ.

And whatever beer I'm drinking, gets a bit poured on the pork chops to keep them from drying out.

A great quality hamburger meat when BBQ'ed makes a hamburger that I'd just as soon eat as almost any other cut of meat. Except maybe a quality prime rib or bacon wrapped filet.

Will put everything in the fridge when done eating for leftovers.

After talking to 3 people that have been through the washing machine conundrum, they all agree, leave those foo foo pretty painted Samsung's at the store and bring home an American made Speed Queen. Made in Wisconsin still. All 3 friends have been through the same scenario of high efficiency top loaders not cleaning their clothes properly because they only fill up with about 5" of water. The Speed Queen did not take the gov't money and convert to high efficiency and thus, it fills up with 12" of water in the stainless tub. My wife and I are both impressed with the 28 minute cycle and the level of cleanliness.

that is really cool. How fast is the processor? How much internal memory?
It won't be long until that whole thing, miniaturized as it is already, is the size of the
USB plug in gizmo on top.

I am showing my age when I thought of Dick Tracey watches here. Soon...
