the outside air vent in the kitchen range hood was making a weird whine and moan and clackety clack.

Well Good Evening Guys on the road again and now I was shipped out to Norman Oklahoma for a two week training course for my Job... Being from NYS, which is 46* right now and down here it is now 32*... By the way where are all of your mountains out here... I can see Dallas from the second floor of the building.. Builder near me laid a 12" culvert in the ditch and barely covered it with some stone. 1st concrete truck turned it into a pretzle, smashed and the ends sticking 90° into the air. When they finished the drive they ripped it out and never put a new one in.

Good evening all. 33F an breezy this morning to go with clearing skies. Made it to 48F clear and fairly windy today. Town run, some light grocery shopping, Home Depot run, insurance dealings, hair cut and small engine parts run. Then lunch, bike ride and computer consulting.

Kev, nice to see the progress you are making with your wagon, looks much better now you stripped all that nasty blue paint off.
Only kidding !! , it looks very smart and, as every with your work, that seat looks extremely well crafted, bet you can't wait to show it off in a parade.


Talking of parades, last week I was asked if my fields could be used as part of a parade and off road route for a run of about 100 old tractors. The attraction of this place was that they could come out down a narrow lane that goes from the last field back to the road. Only problem is that badgers have made the lane impassable by digging holes. Badgers are very common, however they have far more "legal rights" than humans in this country. I will have to fill in a pile of paperwork before I can fill the holes in and it's doubtful if the powers that be will grant me the necessary license in time for the tractor run.

Rain w/warm temps yesterday brooks/streams sent ice flowing,some spots ice back up :shocked: but by some luck etc. broke free...whew.

64 degrees dropping all day into the 30's tonight as cold front drops down.
1.64 inches before I went to bed last night and they are predicting almost 2.4 inches today...yikes, that's four inches
of rain. Just a sprinkle for David/Sodamo but here,well, glub glub
Nothing getting done outside today for sure, going to go food shopping and then catch up on paperwork.

Good Morning. 0640, rain, 50F with 95% humidity. Forecast high of 54F with 100% chance of rain today, and a low of 35F tonight. Rained all night, will continue to around dinner time {lunch for you city folk}, then start getting colder. Radar loop says 1.3" yesterday and 1.46" since midnight. I haven't been outside to look, but that sounds low. Tallahassee tied a record for the date with 2.04" yesterday.

I woke early, and will be looking for a chance to nap before work. Not sure what else I will do.

32 this morning and headed to 39 today. Mostly sunny.

Getting half my birds today. Then inside to start taxes. Yaay. Must be filed by March 1. Also need to get ahold of dealer and see what they charge for a 50 hour service. Or if I'll just do it myself. Tractor already has 65 hours on it.
