Good morning!!!!

Had a couple of losers that would sneak into the Jr. High woodshop paint booth and sniff lacquer thinner. Needless to say they graduated near the bottom of their class, if they graduated at all. Life must really suck if it gets better after huffing paint or glue:thumbdown:

When I got my first job in the USA I was working in a manufacturing business maned by bunch of losers. It paid minimum wage, no vacation or benefits whatsoever. Every day about half of the personnel didn't show up for work. There were few guys who argued who will work in the paint booth to get high for free. I quit about month later. I just googled it. The company is still in business and it looks like doing pretty well. Screen Printing Equipment & Supplies | Lawson Screen & Digital, Inc.

I had just got started mowing the back yard when I got chased by a thunderstorm. It's been raining pretty hard for over 30 minutes with no signs of letting up anytime soon.

Larro, you really are a good gardener.

Drew, if you had seen my tomatoes this year you wouldn't be so quick to say that. But I have decided to try a new tack. I saw this video on You Tube, and decided to give it a try. I'll start outside using the sun, but if it works well, I'll see about getting some cheap lights and bring it inside this winter.

Larro, I think you're onto something there! To save water, officials in Kalifornia are discouraging people from watering their grass. As a result many homes now have dry, brown lawns that don't need cutting. And since nobody needs good weather to cut grass, it never rains. So all folks need to do is start watering and cutting their lawns again, and we'll have all the rain we want!

Wadayatink?

I think you have been out in the heat too long, or inhaling while painting.

I sure hope the El Nino that is shaping up ends your dry spell this winter.

Larro - The more I garden the more I appreciate the produce department at HEB. It just does not rain enough during the summer and a well is $10K+.

I just hate it when the vacuum cleaner breaks when I'm using it - I can't blame anyone.

So there is this 1-800 number on the vac and I figure maybe I can describe the problem and get a part shipped out. The person wants the serial number I give it to him and he says the 5 year warranty is still good for another month - what a day! I'm shipping it to them on their dime - one headache gone.

I get rain, and have a really good deep well. But I still spent about $1K this year when you add it all up. Fence, T posts, wooden posts, wire {for the grapes}, plants, seeds, fertilizer, PVC pipe, spigots, fittings, glue, hoses, soaker hoses, sprinklers, etc etc etc. . . .

Sometimes it is just your day. Imagine how bad you would have felt if the vacuum broke a month from now.

Now there's a vacuum cleaner that doesn't suck. In more ways than one, and for a change that's a good thing! :dance1:

Well, it's not the heat: Been overcast and barely hit 80F today.

And I NEVER inhale!

El Nino's lookin' pretty good:

There is a greater than 90% chance that El Niño will continue through Northern Hemisphere winter 2015-16, and around an 80% chance it will last into early spring 2016.

But the 4.5 month forcast
is predicting only normal rain with above average temperatures in Northern California.

Looks like I should keep lookin' for that weed wiper...

63F this evening. We had a t-storm move through this afternoon and drop a bit of rain, maybe a bit of rain tomorrow. There were some pretty powerful lightning bolts in this storm but nothing hit real close.

RNG They say every El Nino is different. This time there is that blob of warm water off the NW coast. Hopefully you get rain & snow but not extreme enough to send houses sliding downhill.

I'm going to visit my Mom for her 89th birthday next week so I've been getting things lined up for that trip. Got a haircut today, that's a start. :D

My Woods mower tail wheel assembly came in so I'll get that picked up tomorrow plus some Mobil-1 to have on hand for the Subaru and an oil filter for the tractor.
