Good morning!!!!

Hey Drew, a handheld, 6 or 7 years old I think. New one at sears will run me about $90. Might stop by the repair shop to ask $, if too expensive I might take it apart and if can determine what part and if reasonably available, fix myself. It has been a good tool. I finished my hole yesterday by hand so I don't need it for a couple days anyway.

Good to see you checking in MFW.

I really enjoy seeing the broad spectrum of projects we accomplish here. So educational to learn about sheep, chickens, loader rebuilds, workshops, even snakes. LOL

Good morning, a chilly 42F here heading to 61F. Coming into work a couple hours early every day so I can take Saturday off. Suppose to be nice and would like to get the Behr Deck Cover applied to the back deck this weekend.

Coffee is done brewing. 38° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 60° with a chance of some sun. Back is good enough to start putting some of the rocks back in place on Garden Pond.
David (MFW), good news.
Good Morning All.

Showers on and off all night, heavy enough to wake us both up. Almost over now, looking forward to a couple of fine days, maybe more.

I don't think I have ever done as much swapping around on the tractor as yesterday, as I went from weights off to pull trailer, to weights on, forks on, to move pallets of stone. Then on to bale spike to load up with hay, back to forks, then ended the day with the bucket on to move stone to repair the drive. Thanks to a quick attach FEL, I even had time to take a couple of pics.

The 3-point lift arm balls on the Iseki are still very tight. A dolly has made unhitching weights so much easier.

The short lengths of oak on the top is what was left from the old barn roof. They must be well over 200 years old (after felling) and were covered in grime before I blasted off the muck with a power washer. I hate burning potentially good wood. Keep it long enough and a use always seems to be found. These offcuts had been put to one side for the last 6 years.

56 heading to 77. Nice to have gotten .28 inches of rain overnight.

Eric, nice rig for your weights. What is that sign behind your tractor (pic with the gravel)? Looks like a wildlife type sign.

60F today, partly cloudy and breezy.

Eric, good to see you are getting your new tractor dirty.

Back to chasing rocks in the field for a couple hours is the plan today.

Have a good one.

Good morning! We made National News!!!!!! (close by anyway) Tornado in Giddings Texas yesterday was the big story around here and I was surprise to see it mentioned on Good Morning America. My wife got caught in the downburst of rain and had to turn around - flooded roads. She was heading into town the same time the tornado hit. Still waiting for Kyle to check in. Hopefully just his internet is down. It was a F-zero and only 1 person was hurt when it blew a fence through the second floor windows of the Ramada Inn.

We turned the facet on all the way on when the drought was here now we can't turn it off. More rain expected this afternoon.

72˚ sunny - severe weather when the cool front hits later.

50 this morning and headed to 68 today. Going to be chilly compared to what we have gotten used to. Weather man is calling it blackberry winter.

Back to chicken coops today. Then off to see propane supplier about contract for next winter. The company we raise chickens for is going to stop buying the propane and just pay us a fuel allowance. Which means we now will have the headache of fuel pricing. We looked into adding a wood or bio fuel furnace but insurance company said they would only cover propane and natural gas heating. Because it's not dependent on us keeping it fed. Oh well it's hard to cut that much wood when propane is under a $1/ gallon.

Good Morning. 0830, sunny, 81F with 88% humidity. Forecast high of 88F with only a 20% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, and a low of 71F tonight. A little cooler than the last few days, but by no means cool.

Today and tomorrow are good planting days {signs are in the breast}. But today is my cleaning lady day {so I have to do my pre-cleaning lady cleaning} and my Tampa cousin has ask me to canoe down the river with him tomorrow. Plus I slept in this morning. But I will try to get a few pepper and tomato plants transplanted into garden, and get a few more sprouts into cups as I can.

Hope everyone has a good day,

Larro
