I've got some minor auto chores to do this morning. I've seen a few oily drips on the floor coming from the left front transmission cooler area. I can see fluid on the outside of this plastic housing thing but have no idea where it actually leaks from. Oh well.

Morning all.

... Still sore from yesterday's debacle. Car ran a stop sign. It was raining. I locked up the brakes and boom-down I went. Lots of road rash from skidding on pavement and a nice hematoma on the right hip. Looks like a third butt cheek with heavy bruising. Bike was only minimally damaged, so it could have been worse.

I feel your pain! End of November in 2011 I hit a scrap of magnetic sign in the roadway while braking and broke my collar bone in two places... It is hurting right now in sympathy...

Glad you are OK. I need to try he "Icy Hot" on fixing my bikes... Way better answer than "That will buff out..."

Its above freezing according to the T-stat, but there is still ice on the pond...

They predicted it will be warm and rainy today so I allowed the wood stove to burn out overnight, so I can clean it...

Did not make it outside yesterday to put white diesel power in the tractor, 2 out of 3 girls are down with colds, and I'm fighting it also, so I was a bum and did nothing more stressful than putting logs in the stove, did not even split any of it.

I've been counting my blessings on Facebook heading for a full 100 by Thursday...

57 this morning and headed to 58 today. Maybe I'm late on the forecast I did sleep in. Chance of rain 100%. Although radar doesn't look to promising. High wind advisory out. Gusts by tomorrow morning above 45mph. Cold front due through early in the morning.

Biggest challenge today is going to be getting motivated. I can already feel it. Do have some chores to do in chicken coup.

Got a lot down yesterday, including my painting, but will have to give up football today to make up the other rainy days I missed. Don't usually have this time crunch but I need to get some things done at the cottage as we have some extended term (3 month) tenants arriving late Wed.

Our area hobby weatherman says chance of good snow around T-Day here too. Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year travel is always like dodging bullets. Sometimes you get hit too.

Well the sun is out here at the coast temp is 54 had a tornado warning here this AM with over an 1" of rain in 30 minutes...can't say I ever rememeber a tornado warninng on the Washington coast beofre!!!

Chance of snow 90%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. That's for VA West of DC but not in the mountains for Wed night.
I think if I leave early enough on Wed morning I'll be fine.

quiet afternoon watching a movie, now back to paying bills.
whole lot of propane just delivered at 2.06 per gallon.
How does that compare to any of you? New gas company; just curious. goes up and down anyway...
