Good Morning. 0920, overcast, 73F with 82% humidity. Forecast high of 82F with 10% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 63F tonight.

Today is the 1st day of fall, and we are finally getting some cool temps. Sure feels nice out.

I'm off to Payne & Payne this morning to have a cavity filled. Do you think maybe I could find a worse named dentist? It's a father and son practice, and I see the younger fellow. I do like them, and you never have to wait.

70F and .31 inches rain last 24 hours.

Treadmill stress test rescheduled to next Tuesday, tech couldn't make it from other island. Guess this will bounce my followup as well.
So with my suddenly available time, back to working on the PV frame for my solar pool heater mod. Picked up the SS bolts I needed yesterday, geez - EXPENSIVE.

Yes, I like it. Many changes, tho most aren't that obvious. Several online articles reviewing them. So far, I like the predictive typing, camera changes, ability to change devices and see what I was doing, calendar changes, camera changes, just to mention a few. Even better is the iPhone 6. I do a far amount of stuff in Numbers, even drawings with my project spreadsheets and I really like how they look. Wife is waiting for her 6 Plus and at this point I can envision just a tad of envy on my part LOL

those darned pine cones are dropping on my place too...
what can you use them for; anything worthwhile?

If I dig a hole and put a pine cone in it, will I get a tree?

The best way I found so far to rid cones back pack blower,blow them down over steep back or in to stream...cones are indeed hard on mower blades.

First pass with the power washer cranked to 4000psi with one of those whirly gadgets on the end and it sure did clean nicely. And of course stripped paint where not careful but it all has to be painted anyway. The gazillion white plastic uprights to the front deck turned a perfect white from green when I was done. Highly successful.

And yes, I am drenched, and a bit sore from the powerwasher; the high powered ones really do push you back. Never warmed up much and in sopping wet clothes, I decided a break and a hot shower were in order. All that nice green algae water in my hair I tried washing some of the ceiling; didn't see that much improvement but I'm sure it's dusty.
I'll finish it off this week.

I'm likin' the sound of that hot shower idea myself ... though I might have to use a scrub brush ...
