Poured fist cup of coffee. 62° with clouds and a cool northeast breeze this morning. Heading to 67° with clouds and breeze all day. Now that all the tools are put away. I may be able to get a project done without spending half the time looking for tools.
Good Morning All.

I don't think you or I can work long enough or hard enough to pay the debt off, but it is a nice thought

Man, humid out this AM. The weather threat to MY area did not materialize. Was suppose to be a big front moving through late yesterday and early this AM to cool things down.

So, since it was hot and humid yesterday, I finished the weed-whacking. I have a new project in my front now, my neighbor decided about a year ago to elevate his lot. Seems all the water now is ending up in part of my pasture. The tractors cannot get the hay, ground too soft. I took the weed-whacker down in the area to scope where I need to run tile.

I just need it to get bone dry for a while. We shall see....

Also wish you could send some of that rain to our west and to the west coast. This NW flow is killing our rain but is providing the nicer temperatures

What a beautiful sunrise while out refilling the hummingbird feeders. They are in frenzy feeding mode this time of year, so I try to beat them up in the mornings to make sure all the feeders are ready. The other birds sleep in later.

Already up to a windy 73 and going to 89. Our cool down starts tonight, and we should see upper 50's for a couple of nights.

Hope your house sells on the first day, Drew. Our former house in Virginia Beach sold before the listing even began, though it was priced 10% above appraisal. It was a hot market back then, and our realtor knew a doctor who wanted to buy an investment house in our neighborhood. She bought it without ever stepping inside. That was a relief to have that done since we were moving up here and had a new baby and a new job on which to focus.

65*F with fog this morning. 80% chance of rain today, high around 70. Doesn't sound like I'll be mowing today.

Have a good one.

63 degrees, overcast and humid ... kinda chilly out there. Got a good bit of rain yesterday afternoon/evening. Tornado warning up by Cleveland.

Was up in the shed till 3 AM again ... more cleaning, organizing, and stowing away ... more stuff off the floor and onto the shelves.

Flat washers mostly sorted out by size. Ordered drawer dividers for the storage cabinets. Got the airtool oiler cleaned out, refilled and put back together. Took one 8' double fluorescent fixture down in order to relocate it to the center of the room. Cleaned off the extension cords for the plasma cutter and the MIG and got them hung up. Sorted out the band clamp inventory by size. Empty boxes vacuumed out, ones with tops closed up and all of them stowed away (box in a box in a box ...) Almost have the scaffold platform cleared off. Cleaned the ashes out of the wood stove and the ash bucket and stuck those the trash.

Installed the compact bender and got it bolted to the floor ... lovin' the hammer drill ... only took about a minute per hole (1/2" x 3+ inches deep) to drill the slab. Still have the tubing bender stand, drill press, and vise stand to do.

Also still need to run about 10' of 3/4" copper for the air supply on the west side of the building, and hang the small piece of pegboard over the bandsaw and bench grinder, and cut a 2' x 2' piece of 3/4" particle board to replace a section of shelf.

And permanently wire the outlet for the compressor and MIG ... thinking about replacing the load center in the building ... the one that's in there is the original ... it's 100A but only 4 spaces and no main breaker on it (main lugs only) ... also there's no ground rod installed at the building ... so should probably stick one in.

Got the pics and dimension info for the grapple and and reviewed that ... I made a few lucky guesses and a few bad assumptions ... glad I asked.

Today is Christmas in July ... :D
