I'm waiting for the coffee magic to kick in this morning. :laughing: Back to the court house at 8:15 am. The juror info line is working now.

Coffee is poured. 62° with mostly cloudy skies. Heading to 85° with thunderstorms throughout the day. Got the barn cleaned up. Still need to get the tractor cleaned up.

working on the yard stuff today and little things around the house.

that sounds like a very fine swimming hole and not too deep for kids unless there's a lot of current.
any fish you can catch/eat in there?
or will the fish eat you?...

Recently visited good friends in Wilmington NC, not too much further South than where I'm thinking of moving to, and they
have alligators visiting occasionally. And quickly whisked away by the gator catcher in their clearly not totally gated community.

Now I see water down here and wonder what's in it; not used to serious carnivores in the water with me up North...

72F this fine morning, heating up to 90F with a 60% chance of rain. Picked up 620 feet of baseborads last night at Lowes, need to paint and install, hopefully before the weekend is over.

70 heading to 94. Already humid enough to work up a sweat just walking around the yard filling birdfeeders.

Drew, no need to worry about gators in eastern NC...the moccasins and rattlers eat them.

Had to pic up 616 feet of baseboards at Lowes on Monday, 28 - 12 footers and 35 - 8 footers. Son inlaw has a new Chevy truck but only has a 6 foot box. His Chrysler van could only take 10 footers so he tells me, so I use my trusty Chysler Interpid. Friends said I could not do it but I got all the boards in the car and was able to close the trunk.:thumbsup:

bakerg, back in 1973 I purchased a Chevy Nova hatchback coupe, much to my amazement I could carry 12' long lengths of siding by opening the rear hatch and putting the siding atop the dash after loading it from the back....
