Looks to be a Beautiful day here in VA.

Today after Church I will drive up North towards West VA and Pen to pick up a 1988 Ford Ranger Ext cab 4x4 with snow plow. It was formerly a USGS tuck and has 2 gas tanks, overload springs, 7' bed, and only 83,000 miles. 4 cylinder & 5 speed.

I found it on Craigslist. In former life all it did was plow parking lots for USGS in CO, and the 2nd owner, whom I am buying from, only drove it a couple years before dedicating it 100% to plowing his long gravel drive. he recently bough an F350...

This should easily do for my "farm truck" and snow plow truck.

I've already paid, but not seen it yet, so pics etc. will follow later.

57 high of 83 later today, nice rain showers off and on all day yesterday. In between got one of four deck supports installed. Happy Mothers Day to all mothers past present and future. This upcoming week for East Coast might hold some serious weather as in strong storms and possible flooding rains by the 15th or so. Please keep this in the back of your mind as North Carolina north is in harms way

Spent most of yesterday finishing the barn siding. Nice to see it all coming together.
Now comes the cement floor and electrical. Getting closer to being a workshop.

Drank my 2 cups of coffee. 51° with sunny skies this morning. Heading to 75 with partly cloudy skies. Going to visit my mother for a Mothers Day Brunch. Then taking wife out to dinner in the evening. Our kids and Grand Kids are joining us with my mother.
