Good morning all. 61F going to 83F sunny and still windy. Weather fore cast has a fair amount of rain in the next week so will be mowing and riding dodging rain drops. Regular working hours are over at work, waiting for the financials to consider project complete. Wash walls and riding and thanking God for his blessings

Good Morning. 1015, sunny, 80F with 77% humidity. Forecast high of 81F with 66-69% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, {the wedding folks are bumming} and a low of 67F with 4-28% chance of rain tonight.

I got out of here at 0030 and was back at 0800. When you factor in time to drive back and forth, unwinding before bed, getting showered and dressed for work, there was not a lot of time in there for sleep. These late nights make me gaze off into the future and dream of retirement. And also nap at my desk

Hope everyone has a good day. Remember the race is tonight because tomorrow is Mother's Day.

69F and no measurable rain last 24 hours.

Finished my pressure washing, at least as far as I'm going to this time, awwww my back

Have to roast a pork today and prep some other food for tomorrow's potluck, still a couple of cleanup chores as well.

Rain just started pouring down here, just after the wedding folks had got all their church pews and old doors setup outside. Now it's time for plan B. The wedding is still almost three hours away, so they just put everything under the eaves for now, hoping it is just a passing shower. If it keeps raining {it has been raining about 10 minutes so far}, they will have the ceremony in the Game Room and the reception in the Ball Room. In my 23 years working here, this may become my first outside wedding that has got rained out.

You might be right. I found some that looked like them at Heirloom Southern Peas or Cowpeas from the Victory Seed Company. They are called Dimpled Brown Crowder Peas. The speckled ones look like a Pigeon Pea. Mamma's Daddy had a speckled peas that got to be called the Lon Messer Speckled Pea. Granny kept them going for years, and then Mamma after Granny died. But they got mixed with other peas, and I'm not sure if there is any of them around anymore. We lost a lot of old seeds when our barn freezer went out.

Good evening, got an early start today, painted ceilings in bedroom, computer room, hallway and stairway leading upstairs. Then made it outside to change oil, air & fuel filters on the Massey and greased the mower and put it on. Also changed the oil and sharpened the blades on the old MTD rider. Will mow for the first time this year tomorrow as the grass is getting pretty long. Took my wife and mother out for Chinese food for dinner for Mother's day. My mom has trouble walking so we went tonight instead of tomorrow to make it easier for her as it is less crowded.

GM guys...44 degrees here now, coffee is brewed, cats are fed, looks like it will be another nice day. I am insulted that another member commented on a thread I started in "Owning and Operating" about remote FEL operation, he said it was a bad idea. Oh well, some people don't appreciate creativity. IT WORKED and that is all that matters and I still have all my fingers and toes and my feeble half a brain...:laughing: Going to go visit my step mom this afternoon and treat her to dinner, hoping you have the opportunity to spend time with your mothers today.
