Looks like we won't see the forecasted storm until Sunday, yeaaaaa

Good day today, all my tanks are relocated, tweaked into place and have water in them. I need about another day to finished plumbing the last 2 tanks, currently plumbed to fill should we get rain, but not hooked into pump.

That project isn't done, but had to go to town today to pick up two 4x10's for next project, which I officially activated the day before my catchment fiasco. I keep getting further behind LOL. Thank God, I'm retired.

Looks like after next week we are all in for a warm up that lasts about ten days or two weeks from the brutal cold we've been having. After that cold comes again but that's two weeks closer to spring. Please be careful in those brutal cold temperatures

Good morning folks!

Well it has been a while since I've been on TBN due to a multitude of reasons but as I keep saying, I will try and post more.

Hopefully everybody is doing well, but I'll read the backlog of posts later when I have some time.

Right now I am still waiting on my brain waking up (2:45 hours and counting) so when that does I will have to tidy up the house in preparation for an engineer arriving to install a new satellite receiver for the television.

I have been sleeping really bad lately, only managing to drift off at around 3AM and as a result sleeping past my alarm and into the afternoon in some cases, but fortunately last night I managed to get to sleep just after midnight and awake at 6AM. I have tried all those herbal sleeping aids but in this instance some Kentucky Bourbon was all that was required for a good nights sleep.

-11 here in Dunbarton this morning and -14 in Concord so it is a good morning to stay close to the wood stove.
Drew a glass of water to take my pills and man it was cold water! No frozen pipes, heat is working,
think the winds have all died down so it really isn’t that bad.
Now they are predicting rain for Monday. All that means is more ice for us.

Didn't get that -18F to -22F cold weather station said -9F instead, clear w/no wind.
I'll plug tractor in 9ish for this afternoon snow removal for high upper teens,clean off roof like Wayne said more ice arriving.

Just poured second cup of coffee. 48° with clear skies. Heading to 72 with a mix of sun and clouds. Should be a good day to wash car. Mud has dried up.
Jim and Roy, take care of those toes. They sure can cause uncomfortable pain.
Erv, prayers for your wife. Hope power company gets your power problems fixed soon.
To all those in the cold north. Please be careful doing things outdoors. Rap up and keep warm. Take your time with snow clearing. Even on the tractor.
