good morning all, reporting in from the Poconos. What a pretty place this is, almost deserted during the week, though tomorrow they are having a 5k run that goes right through the campground so that should be interesting to watch, perhaps....I'm sure not much of a runner.
Boy do we like the gas heat in the motorhome. Quieter and warmer than the noisy and drafty heat pump.
But we got our education this morning....oh dear, the propane level reads almost empty. Oops. Guess the heater sucks a lot of propane. Kinda wondering how I'm going to cook sausage and eggs this morning.
Oh well, cook til it stops, then go outside and fire up the travel grill.
today I work on the golf cart, watering the batteries, and then I might spritz the motorhome with some spray detailer, after I scrub the bugs off the front. And then we go exploring up and down every single little part of this campground. Some huge fifth wheelers here, this place is a little more upmarket than the last place we went, nothing looked green and moldy from being there too long.
I also intend to take a book down to the lake, sit in my rocker, and read, occasionally looking up to see the leaf colors reflected in the water, like a French impressionist painting.
Lastly, it seems that Marshall Machinery is all of ten miles away in Honesdale, the next big town East of us.
Boy if I were pulling a car instead of a golf cart, I'd be gone to over there in a heartbeat. Lots of used Kubotas there, just a first class dealership from what I've seen.
So, I intend to stay very busy doing as little as possible, and hope you all have a great Friday.
