good morning all. A brisk 39 this morning up in the Poconos, on the shore of Keen Lake. Going to get some cool pics of the sun coming up over the lake, if I can wake up. Not a hard drive up here, except GPS and the Google directions kept conflicting. The GPS is specially made for RV's and knows we are 12 1/2 feet tall.
So not following it makes me, ah, shall we say, pay attention. Both Nadene and I were exhausted and I apologized for raising my voice at her when she was motioning me back into the slip standing someplace I had no chance of seeing her. And this is not a large site/slip, I got within less than a foot the first time of smashing the corner into a tree limb, while Nadene simply observed. She was tired, I was tired, and all got done. And she is still fast asleep.
I had no problem at all pulling a 2500 pound trailer/golf cart. Couldn't see the trailer at all, except quite nicely in my rear view camera. And today we are going to go everywhere we can around the lake. A county road runs right through the campground, and our golf cart is NOT on road rated, those things are almost twice as expensive we found out. But we got up to about 20mph zipping along the road, zero traffic, never saw a car, and found the dumpster. So if I get arrested and locked up, I'm going to take my laptop and ask all of you to bail me out....:cool2:
pictures to follow. Roy, I'm not an Orbison fan normally, but the other two are marvelous. I don't think Allison Krauss knows how to sing a wrong note. In fact we listened to a CD of hers driving up here.
boy do I need more coffee. Still trying to find where Nadene stored stuff. If I make enough noise in the kitchen, maybe she'll come out and help!

On second thought, maybe not such a good idea. I promised her brunch today, not breakfast.
