That’s right…; No safety glasses or hearing protection!


And I caught something else that is really important:
He's not wearing gloves.


I might be up in age, but I am still as tack as a sharp.

Good morning everyone. 71F going to 90F and sunny. Dew point back over 60 at 63F. one chance at rain Sunday (30%) then nada in the 10 forecast. everything is hurting as I have had minimal rain for over 2 months.

Ouch. The tropical depressions seem to be hanging out to the west side of Mexico, but maybe something will blow some moisture up your way.

Another thing wrong about the chainsaw guy is he is stinking up his camo outfit, the critters are going to smell him from a mile away. He should have worn other clothes. :laughing:

68F, no rain since midnight

Mowed my outside area yesterday, so basically caught up until next go around
That would be the perimeter and cane road inside the box, but not the bulk of the area. This is the next 5 acres to be licensed to the farmers in Nov for ginger.






Up a bit earlier today, adjusting my routine to get my 30 minute stationary bike ride in before anything else.

Drew, I can relate LOL

One of the Japanese restaurants we go to a couple times a year places a nice gob of wasabi right on the plate, next to the sashimi and green salad. Almost every time, that lump will end up under a green leafy thing just prior to disappearing into my mouth - what a wake up call!!!!

A study came out this week on heart disease management, for those who have had a MI. Looks like I'm still on the right track.

"Cutting out Meat Boosts Heart Attack Victims' Chances for Survival

People who improved their eating habits the most after a heart attack had a better chance of surviving, according to a study online this week in JAMA Internal Medicine. Researchers assessed the diets of 4,098 women and men from both the Nurses Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study using the Alternative Healthy Eating Index 2010 - tool developed to determine chronic disease risk based on diet before and after a heart attack. The results showed that after a nine years of follow-up, a diet lowest in red and processed meat products and sugar and highest in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables lowered the risk of death from heart disease by 40 percent, compared with no dietary changes.

Can you comment on the combining of red meat and sugar in the same sentence? I know meat is very, very bad but is sugar as well or did it just arbitrarily get lumped in with meat?
