Good morning!!!!

I mowed my grass yesterday and it looks terrific, but will have to get back to watering today because today and tomorrow will be the hottest days yet for this year (100+), and I don't want my green yard turning brown. It's supposed to cool off a few degrees on Saturday and we are taking my grandson to the local Jim Bowie Days Rodeo in Bowie, TX. The rodeo doesn't start until 8 PM, so it will be cooler by then.

good morning we have one more day with high humidity.its 70 this morning going up to 81 with a chance of rain this afternoon.

Looks like our timing is about the same. I mowed, edged, and trimmed our yard and the one next door yesterday, then strung out my hoses and put the sprinklers on them, so I got up at 4 a.m. this morning and turned on the water. I've done just a little hand watering, but today is the first time this year to use the sprinklers and water the whole yard.

Farmgirl, don't listen to David, he ain't sweet, he's a ol' sourpus! He don't need no vinegar to make pickles, he makes sour pickles by sticking cucumbers in a jar of water and putting his thumb in with 'em for 10 minutes! On the other hand, I'm mature, easy to please and loaded with southern charm! I've been referred to as the silver tongued devil more than once. I got lines like;"You sure don't smell too bad to be all sweaty and stuff!"
