The Hobbit[/] is really a strange movie that ends suddenly, long before you'd expect (tho it is nearly 3 hr long). I'd bet there will be a Hobbit II before long.

I understand some of the principal actors are down here now making Hobbit 2.

Had to leave home before 6 this morning for a shop related job, then came home for the day around 10 and worked on my deck. I thought about all those that gave all today as well.

I had the most amazing day yesterday with my baby girl. I had her from the end of Sunday School at 10:30 until I dropped her off at home at 9:15 pm (yesterday).

It made me VERY aware today of how terribly much I miss her and the rest of my family.

But it was an awesome day...

She got to see the guest room where I am living now (she wanted to stay). She and I then visited with the first family I was staying with, and she got to use the refurbished fort he and I worked on for her to use, she also got to help plant some flowers with his wife. Then she and I went back to my current place, met the dog, and went to the playground here (and she did not want to leave, loved it so much). Then we had Pizza and Frozen yogurt.

She did not want to go home... I wanted to keep her too...

It was just the best day...

I can only hope I can make it to next weekend for another dose.

I just thought you guys should know...

She will always be my baby girl... She was telling me herself that she is 4, gonna be 5 (not til feb.) and "That is a big age for a little girl"...

58 degrees this morning chance of afternoon shower or t-storm with high in low 80s. Great holiday weekend worked in yard got lots done, even got to use tractor and remembered those who fought and died for our country. Hope everyone has a safe day

Coffee is brewing. 52ｰ with rain and fog this morning. Heading to 74ｰ with strong thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Yesterday was a busy day. They had a Memorial tribute at my mother nursing home. Then brought her to our place to enjoy time with family. Missed posting yesterday. Thanks to all for their service to this great country. Especially to those that gave their lives.

I forgot to change the alarm and it went off at 4, I went back to sleep (mostly) until 0510.

Chance of T-Storms and a very late appt with my therapist up near work means I will drive today (again).

I am very concerned about work. the re-org is not doing me any favors. My new commission plan seems to be a set-back and not the improvement we were all promised. This is very frustrating.

Good Morning! 74˚ and southerly winds, partly cloudy hitting 90˚.
Last Friday Federal Express could not deliver my package because of the "weather"??????? It was not severe and only 9/10" rain. He must still be jittery because the OK tornados.
I should get my ratchet rake forest service attachment ratchets today, so it's a quick trip to TS to get some connecting chains and continue pulling mesquite from my open areas.
I'll probably get side tracked clearing some brush from the woods also, but it makes me smile to uncover a large tree and remove the water sucking cedars and youpons around it.

64 and humid, 80 later then 90's and humid the rest of the week and weekend, just the way I like it! Started using my newly built deck yesterday even without the railings and the furniture was 2 deck chairs, (hey a deck is a deck) and a folding chair.

I will never run out. I'll still have over 20 acres of thick mesquite after I get through pulling the new growth in my designated open native grassy areas - too bad I don't need them to flavor meat. I still prefer central TX Post Oak for the best smokey flavor/smell.

good morning everyone, glad to see you guys and gals had a good weekend ours was great well almost. the ladys canned 35 pints of strawberry jelly saterday and sunday. we took the boy's fishing sunday. everyone went back home monday so i got my tators in the ground. saterday the women were on there way to get the strawberries and my cousin got pulled over got a $86 ticket for not having a front tag on the vehicle. i know she was so glad to get away from me cause i had alot of fun with it. oh yeah 58 degrees low 80's today with possible storms. have a great day and be safe
