Boy, it was nice to sleep in an extra hour (up at 0345) this morning!!

30 degrees here and heading to 60 or so. Wife and I are heading to camp to open up.
All this really means is getting the water hooked up and running.
Now this could take 20 minutes or an entire day! Exciting!

Poured my first cup of coffee. 26 degrees with clear skies and bright moon this morning. Heading to 59 with a mix of sun and clouds. Back to doing some of my outside projects.

47 degrees heading up to 70 today cloudy tomorrow with rain Sunday and Monday. Hard job will be finished today with out of town job starting next week. Saturday will be spent mowing grass. Better half mowed grass at home beautiful just beautiful

I stayed up too late last night, and got up almost the normal time. I had an amazing cake my oldest daughter made for me and awesome ice cream, and washed it down with some George Dickel...
My buddy is taking me out tonight for my Birthday. Tomorrow morning I'm going on a poker run with some of my motorcycle buddies from Church, and this weekend I need to work on the JD LX266 riding mower so the wife and girls can have an easier time mowing out at the ranch. It has a gas leak, and needs a new drive belt...
Sunday I'm teaching HS Sunday School, but I do that every week.
Therein lies my whole weekend.

Light frost this morning. Calm and clear on the way to a high around 55* - 60*. The dogs are barking at a moose standing in the tree line.
Yesterday I cleaned up the 3pt snow blower, greased, adjusted, etc. It's ready for next winter.
Then I tackled changing the oil and filter in my Cub Cadet LTX1050 (first time) where I encountered the ever-popular twist & turn oil drain (also first time). That turned into a real mess ... all over the floor. The twist & turn is getting replaced with a 1/2" x 4" pipe nipple before I put the new oil in, I think it has a 1/2" NPThread.
Today I will get the chipper hooked up and start chipping some limbs and branches that have accumulated from cutting.

Good Morning! 66˚ and misting so far .02". Ponds are only half full so even if it does not rain they will last the summer. Cactus are blooming looks like yellow roses. Whipper played with a possum most of the night but is sleeping tight now.

I thought about some country gravy, but still to lazy. Only slept 4.5 hrs before work yesterday, so I'm drag'n. When I was a kid though, granny would make us toast and gravy allot. On a good day she made busquits and chocolate gravy, now that is some good grub!!

38 when I went out this morning with the dogs. Busy morning, coffee for my wife, take snow tires off daughters car, hair cut now all packed and heading to Saratoga Springs, about 3 hour ride, for my niece's wedding. Took extra day to relax with wife any suggestions from any one in area?

David...same is happening to me tomorrow I think...I really have to mow our front yard at least...but the weather man says rain Sat and Sun....I can't do it today...I feel your pain...
