Good morning all, 17 degrees here and it looks like this thread will break the 8,000 post mark today, maybe even by noon if that toppop52 guy keeps up his postwhoring...:laughing: Just transferred my Directv service to my email account and credit card, amazes me how many selections they offer. I can get the Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler channels streamed right to my plasma set for only a few bucks a day...what a deal !!!! Sad thing is, I cannot afford them now....:laughing: Heck I can't even afford to have them streamed to my smartphone.

Going out to the mailbox and get the newspaper and see what is on sale this week. BYE GUYS enjoy your Sunday. I sure will enjoy mine.

Good Morning! 61˚ heading to the 70s, cloudy, 70% chance of rain.
I Planted 10 blueberry bushes that I got from Sam's, yesterday, in holes with a mixture of peat moss and compost, come on rain.

14 right now, it was supposed to get down to 20, I'm tired of cold! I guess the snow cover and clear skies combined to drop the temp. Anyway 35 or so today 45 tomorrow, 60 Tuesday, 70 Wednesday and 35 with snow Friday. I'm getting sea sick from the ride!

We saw a really nice place...
I'd prefer more rural. I don't have a problem with dirt roads (Vermont abounds with dirt roads!) although I understand the Mud Season can be challenging (so I might eat those words).
However, the wifey wants to be on a paved road and have neighbors within view. So, we found a place just north of Bethel, VT. 8.6 acres partially fronting on the White River (the bottom land is in a flood zone, but the house is on a hill above the bottom land), large house (rancher) with a two car attached garage (place for the tractor and implements!!!) and a couple smaller outbuildings. And, of course, it's got a Vermont Castings woodstove!
This is definitely a house we want to investigate further.
The biggest downside is the tax rate. It's pretty high and I'm assuming the owners never contested the assessments.

Good morning. It's 7:05 AM here with a temp of 44F. Heading to 69F today. It's sure gonna be nice having some warm weather in January. Tomorrow the 28th. It's supposed to be even warmer with high of 72F.

Makes me think winter is over. But unfortunately not quite yet as were supposed to get cold again.
