Good afternoon all. 16F to start the day with 46F and sunny and NO WIND . Fireplace has gone out and will clean the doors for Christmas. Next week is looking to be cold so will be burning heavy again. Christmas shopping is done wrapping is next, and first of three family get together(s) is tonight.

Roy sounds like things are beginning to approach normal. Glad to hear things are going as good as they are.

Already helped my neighbor take his backhoe off for first time. Unfortunately he needed a new hitchpin and clevis before we could hook up his $500 flail.

Neighborhood potluck Christmas party starts in 2 hours and I just know they'll be a ton of great eats.

My littlest one is a sheep in the Christmas play at Church, we will be rehersing this afternoon after Church. I think she will be awesome. My oldest is singing a solo with my wife accompanying her on the flute, and both older girls are in the choir.

Me? I'll just be sitting in the pew smiling...

Got my fist cup of coffee poured. 14 degrees with clear skies this morning. Heading to 33 with mostly sunny skies. More problems with brownouts yesterday and into this morning. Finally gave up and disconnected all incoming power and forced whole house generator on full time. NO more problems. This morning we have a steady 246 VAC. Woke up at 2:00 o'clock this morning for a bathroom visit. Whole neighborhood was dark except my place. Went back to bed. When I awoke at 5:00 o'clock. Power was on at neighbors houses. I am back on the grid again. Apparently the main transformer for over 4 square miles got hit by Lightning some time ago. When some lines went down Friday that overloaded transformer and made for very low voltage. Good News, Its going to be a Merry Christmas after all. :thumbsup:
Final check of motor home today before heading out after Christmas day. Then plow snow with tractor that I did not do yesterday.

19 Degrees this morning, too dark to see what the morning is going to bring. There was talk of a chance for snow tomorrow night? Daughter got home yesterday and three more people coming this afternoon and all will be here for Christmas morning. Busy time of the year.

We've had snow showers the last few days. No appreciable accumulation though. Clear today.

Mix of snow/light rain today and a high of 4C/40F. Yesterday we started out with some light rain and then around 10AM it was snow for about 3 hours. Wet stuff but still added about 2 inches. Suspect we will get more of this mix over the next few days so we may have a white Christmas. This afternoon we have friends coming to stay for a couple of day
On a good note the calf I got Friday morning took its bottle and drank the whole thing with no prompting from me this morning.

I get to watch all of my girls, including my wife, perform in some fashion at Church tonight, I need to find and charge my camcorder...

Good morning! 53˚ heading to 75˚, with soft north wind. I't going to be a good day! Knees are working better again and did a 3.5 mile run yesterday. The paver drive with porch connect just might be done in time for a photo op for Ron's new (leak free ) car. Take your time driving down Ron and be safe.
