33 and cloudy this morning, had a thunderless storm yesterday, black clouds, wind, rain and all that, very isolated though. Then it cooled off and got real windy the rest of the day and night and still is.

Well, we're in Vermont!
I've been working at my new job...seems to be a good fit and a lot of work to do!
It took longer then expected to get cable, the internet and the telephone connected...this being why I haven't been on TBN in about a week.
Long day (my start time is 0630, but I get in earlier then that), so I'll add more tomorrow.

Yeah...the cable company (Comcast) had scheduled the installation on 14 Dec...but somehow it was in the system as 10 Jan 2013. Fortunately, we got it squared away, but Comcast subcontracts the work in VT so we had to wait a few extra days.

30 degrees here...34 will be the high. This is the warmest day of the week. Very cold temperatures in the the next few days (low single digits at night).

Roy glad to hear you got moved in, started the job and not to worry the temps will warm up around April 15th. Interesting that you have Comcast, most area outside to towns do not have that.

34 and partly cloudy here. It was 64 and sunny yesterday afternoon, I was stomping around in the woods and it was almost too hot.

The story I'm hearing on the deer locally is the rut started and ended early. I saw some sign that they may be herding up early yesterday. we had to go somewhere before sunset, and as we were driving out, on one of the neighbors posted fields there MUST have been almost 20 deer out in the open in a hay field surrounding a round bale that has been sitting there since it was cut last...

I did kick one out of the middle bowl near my deer stand (of course if I'd been in it I might have had a shot )...

I'm gonna sit in my stand for an hour or so and then head in for a meeting.
Looks like my travel is about to kick up to high gear starting in January as I ramp up to full speed finally with my account.

My wife would like to go back to Hawaii, and the girls are begging to go. We were married on Kuai back in 93 just after they reopened the island after Iniki. We also took our very first vacation in Waikiki way way back in 1989 or 90...

The Big Island looks very pretty...

Early cup of coffee is poured. 36 degrees with rain and wind. Heading to 43 with rain and wind all day. Got most of my stuff loaded into motorhome. Need to put it away in cabinets. Tractor is ready just in case the weather decides to take a change and drop some snow on us instead of rain.

Good Morning! 49˚ heading to the 50s only, sunny. The streak of warm weather is over. Yesterday was 80˚ and windy from the South at 25mph. Today it is windy at 25mph from the North. Maybe all the foam spacers that blew out of my bucket will be blown back.

A few more rows of pavers and I'll be able to start on the 100 cuts going around this 1/3rd of the compass rose. I'm wearing out and slowing up....but the end is in sight and is keeping me motivated!

Good morning all. Damp and 34˚here this a.m. with heavy rain/wind predicted for this afternoon. The rain changes to snow tonight and 2-3" accumulation by Saturday night. Looks like snow for Christmas is likely around here. Have a good one!
