Hello Roy Congrats on the job! What part of the state are you going to move to? Bring your winter boots and snow shovel! LOL. It is a great place to live in Roy I am sure you and your wife will love every minute once you are moved in!

Thanks for the congrats, men!!!
Just remember, if you need a woodstove, you want to buy a Vermont Castings woodstove...got to keep me employed!!

Jinman, I've had pm's with a few TBNers living in the area. I've been on the phone with irvingj a few times...he lives just across the state line in NH.
We have to be up there in three weeks and got a LOT of work to do before that happens.
I'm not sure my F-150 can handle trailering the 4400, so I'm looking at shipping it instead.

Roy- that is awesome! I truley am happy for you.

Of course- we'll want to see pics of you at you new job....new home....tractor move.... Just the typical TBN 'nosey"/curiosity thing-

Now, for the weather.....

1040- overcast, windy and cool. Fair amount of overnight rain and wind was heavy at times. Just starting the first cup of coffee, Wife's home today so I'm sure the "honey-doo" requests will begin soon. I think I may try to sneal away on the tractor for a while

32 here now, got some flurries this morning. I agree with Roy that sometimes it is a better idea to replace a HDD than buy a new PC but many people find the replacement a huge PIB. My 4 1/2 year old Blackberry finally died and I made the change to Android...what a flipping headache it is to get used to the new OS...have no idea why they make it so complicated and then furnish practically no printed information for dummies like me. Went to Schulers this morning to buy a copy of "Android Phones for Dummies" so I can figure out where to plug in the power cord....

My old Blackberry was so simple, I could log into Facebook and post something in 30 seconds, well with the new gadget it takes me 15 MINUTES just to log in and compose a message on the touch screen. REAL PROGRESS, huh????

I have two VC’s here and we have always enjoyed them. That is a nice area of the state and I am sure you will like the gun laws too.

35 now and should be a pretty decent day.

Thanks for all the best wishes, folks..I really appreciate it!!

Now, here's an odd one:
When I got the call about the Vermont job, I also got a call about a job in Altoona PA (about 150 miles NW of our home). Even though both the recruiter and client company know I got an offer (and accepted the offer), they still want me to interview at the Altoona job.
Well, time for the VT move is tight, but I committed so I'm gong to Altoona for a 6 hour interview today.
Don't get me wrong..it's nice happy two companies wanting to talk to me. But, I can't say this one makes a heck of a lot of sense...not after I've accepted the VT job.

Ya never know...They may make you an offer you cannot refuse...

Do you have to sell the place you are living in? Or will you rent it out?

Best of luck in all cases.

Be well.

34 here just now.

I've got to figure out if I can get to the North side of DC for a conference and get back in time to make my home owners board meeting tonight...

Roy has a 6 hour interview, I have what looks like ~5 hours of driving and 2+ hrs of Metro...

Be well all.
David
