Good Morning! The coolest morning so far at 66 and clear skies. I love Fall! The rain fizzled out before it even got close and I poured 30 bags before 10am. I think I will do a 5K race this weekend after a good fast (for me) 26:30 - 3 miler last night. Below is a the photo of the completed compass rose border. The framing comes off today and the leveling and compacting of the middle is next. The letters are trimmed off sides of pavers from the last section.

Morning all. I've been inside buildings all day except to walk to my car, or to carpool to dinner.

Hotel coffee is terrible and I'm off to class again.

The training is pretty good, but long, long days with almost no breaks.

Good evening all. Stepson and I took the tree down. It was a 58 yo elm. Temp started at 48F and made it to 75F. Golf,tree cleanup and mowing on the agenda. Couple of pics for your viewing pleasure.

Had possibly the worst nights sleep in about a month last night.

Got to sleep just after midnight and awoke at 3:30AM and just could not get back to sleep so I got up at 5:00.

No doubt I'll be dead by tea time but hey-ho.

Good morning guys! It is a brisk 37* here this morning heading to 74 with lots of sun. Chased the wife out the door and am enjoying my first cup of coffee. Finally have a couple weeks off so I can get some of my "to do list" done. Probably start with changing the oil and filter on the tractor and then burn some more brush piles. Have a good one!

I was going to suggest you make the Texas RoundTop Antique festival if y'all both can be mobile at the same time for an extended period. It is a lot of walking.

82F and sunny with a bit of high cloud. Need to cut up and haul out a couple of fir trees out of the bush but we have an extreme fire rating so will wait till we get some rain.

Well it did warm up a wee bit but the main thing is it remained nice and sunny and DID NOT RAIN. Woo-hoo.

I'm still actually feeling pretty awake at 10:45PM despite only getting 3 hours sleep last night, strange!

Roy, I hope that cold clears up soon - it is no fun I know.

If you have a blocked nose as well you could try chewing some menthol gum. I do that whenever I have a blocked nose and granted you will still have a cold but if you can breathe through your nose it helps relieve the discomfort a lot.

Gum....PHHHFFFFFTTTT. The best method for clearing a blocked nose and/or sinuses is shown in the attachment...be sure to remove the seeds before consuming half dozen of these handy organic veggies.
