Waiting for coffee to finish brewing. 45 degrees this morning in Carlyle, IL. Heading to 58 with some sun. Have not been in temperatures this low in 3 months. Going to take some time getting use to it. Visiting friends for a couple of days.

56 now and T-storms brtween 4pm and 9pm folled by rain for more than 24 hours.

I'm planning to do some maintenance on my tractor stuff and get some seat time before the rain hits.

got up to partly cloudy skies suppose to be raining i rushed around yesterday to get what i needed done cause weather man said rain so today i can work in shop changing oil after of course i have had my coffee so everyone have a wonderful day and be safe.

36 this morning here in Branson.. Man was yesterday cold, rainy and windy. Almost froze to death putting gas in the car yesterday. A real change from the wonderful warm weather we were having. Supposed to be near 80 again by Wednesday.

Actually, I didn't...not enough recent experience with the equipment software I'd have to use. I've been more on the administrative end of things the last several years. I'm quick picking up measurement software, but would still need a week or two to refresh my memory.
Not a problem though...after I calculated the distance and fuel usage for the drive to work, I wouldn't have made any money anyway.

PC-DMIS on a Rhomer Arm...
I've used it before (older revision)...been some changes.
I'd been involved with CMMs since 1982 and I'm pretty good with them. Problem with being good with CMMs is one can get "stuck" on them...which is one reason I moved to the administrative side of QA work.

35 here, sun is coming up and it looks like it will be a nice day later on. I was out push mowing the barnyard at about 4 pm yesterday at about 4 pm and it began to rain, I was disappointed because I was hoping to complete the second mowing of the yard for the year.

Bad news, guys...wife is talking about quitting her job, which means I will not have the opportunity to sit around and drink beer and watch **** tube movies much of the day like I have been enjoying for the last seven years. Knew it was too good to last....:laughing:

Yesterday I decided the maintenance could wait for today in the rain and I got like 4 glorious hours of seat time until the rain started about 4pm. Then my wife took me shopping for my birthday later this week (she bought me a nice new Pulsar watch).

Today it is gonna rain, and rain, and rain, so after Church I'm going to put the car out in the rain and put the tractor in the carport and FINALLY do the 50 hr service (I'm at 71 hrs now :ashamed while I tend the smoker filled with ribs and chicken...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I got up later than usual today (9AM) as I do on Sundays to give myself a bit of extra rest, which meant I actually didn't need a coffee this morning.

It's a dreich day here this morning and looks like it'll rain on and off all day, so no mowing, even though the grass could do with a wee trim.
