   / Good morning!!!! #2,682
Well, this is the first post I've made in here from my home computer since the 20th of February, when my internet went down. But, on the 19th of April, almost two months later, I'm back!

Woo hoo!

OK, lets get business back to normal, so here goes.

'Morning guys! First coffee not made yet (hence probably some grammatical errors) and weather grey and cold.

I hope everybody is doing great!

Welcome back Jamie, hope to see you on LMF also.
Cool here this morning with a 30% chance of rain.:(

No, you are just jealous that the rest of us here have a REAL tractor and not just memories of a toy....
And a very fine toy that was!

It's strange that I can remember a toy from when I was three years old but (no word of a lie) can't remember what I ate yesterday. Memories can be selective huh ?

I can remember oddball things like my Tonka firetruck that I got for Christmas in 1958 and the combination to my high school locker in 1969 (33-15-5) but not what time I had my coffee yesterday morning.

I know exactly what you mean.

For example I just loaded up the Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Forum and as soon as it appeared I forgot what I wanted to post.

...And they are off and running...

It must have been too quiet here...

Dear Lord, Please send Jamie a tractor...

'Also spent several hours bringing wood in from last year's pile....which fell over."

Safe to say the frost is out of the ground when wood piles tip over. :(

Geez guys, are y'all always this boring!?

52 here headed to 70ish, and David, we missed all but less than .1" of that rain, we're 6" behind for the year and desperately need the promised downpour this weekend.

Had a half inch of rain yesterday... Really needed it. But it cramps what I can do today. Think I'll lift up the bush hog and try sharpening it. I use a hand grinder with attention to even treatment for each blade. Seems to work. No vibration and clean cutting. I think the secret is to take off only the minimum to get an edge.

I'll have to do the dirt work tomorrow, because more rain's in the forecast for the weekend. But we do need it, so no complaints.

Speak for yourself!

Morning has broken, well, actually it has been since 5AM, and since then I've been enjoying having the internet again by doing something I haven't been able to do for a long time - Start the morning off by listening to Roy Orbison songs on YouTube, and of course posting in the Good Morning thread!

So, good morning, and another miserable day here. I've not been out yet but it is probably about 5*C/41*F and going to rain.

We've got to go out and get some groceries later this morning so no doubt the heavens will open just as I get in the car.

Oh well, life could be worse... I hope.
