53F this morning and we had our first bear visitor last night, he managed to get one of the bird feeders and kept our dog up and barking for about an hour.

I'm having a tough day today.

If you pray, please pray for me to find new ways to be kinder and gentler to those around me. To be more content with where I am and what I am doing, and less critical of those around me.

I will be at work until ridiculously late today due to situations outside my control so I probably will not be here much.

Sorry for dragging this thread into my muck, but I consider many of you to be my friends and I feel the need for prayer support, so I asked for it.

Please all of you have a most excelllent spring day.
I will be more cheerful tomorrow...

PS - Weather here is a Dense Fog advisory, travel is dangerous. Seems oddly appropriate to the dense fog I am feeling.

Coffee is done. 60 degrees this morning. Heading to 86 with lots of sun. Need some rest today. Spent to much time yesterday walking around all the festivities in Mexico yesterday.

Hit 86 here yesterday pm, I was out cleaning up the roadfront, the brisk breeze helped make the extra heat from the sun tolerable. Going to make my weekly errand ruinning trip a day early today because rain (YUCK) is forecast for tomorrow.

Heading for the 70s once more today. Little shower last night, just enough to slow garden work. Will work inside the a.m. and then use the chainsaw to knock down some 4 to 5 inch trees so I can see the creek from the house. I'll snake them out whole with my JD and start another brush pile.

Thanks Guys! I really needed some support yesterday... I got it. I'm feeling more optomistic today. :thumbsup:

Having horses has been the dreams of my daughter's for a LOOOONG time, but the reality of how much work it is is setting in. Having a big farm has always been my dream, but it is a bit overwhelming for the wife most of the time. Combine those two items, mix in the stress of 11 months of under employment just getting by which will tak at least a couple years to recover from financially, and top it off with a tiny and mostly broken house that we simply do not fit in and it is a volatile mix...

The fact that I am behind on every project, every project has cost and other overruns, the effing rooster tries to attack one of the ladies every other day, and a wide variety of other complications...

Just like a farm or ranch, a marriage takes a LOT of HARD woirk to harvest good fruits. Doubly true with Parenting as well...

This busted house that seems more busted the more we learn (almost EVERYTHING is a code violation) that we are overcrowded in is VERY tough on momma, and the new workload is tough on the girls, especially when I am traveling or working late etc...

When Momma & daughter's ain't happy, well, you know the rest of that story...

Suffice it to say, I'm doing the work as best as I can, and you all are some of my good friends and support network. I just wish you all lived closer...

PS - 60 now, headed to 84 and mostly sunny later (is it March or May 23?). Girls are taking a day off to go to the river with a friend. I am taking my Harley back to the shop that repaired it to fix the wiring issue, and trying to collect all the stuff for my tax accountant so I can say SOMETHING is finished...:thumbsup:

54 here now, got a rainfall yesterday afternoon but not sure of how much. The grass has already become so green it looks like I will have to begin mowing next week. Started getting out deck boxes and patio furniture yesterday and stored the last small snow blower.

Hey David, may I pass along some words of wisdom my dad gave me when I was a 20-something guy? I was telling him I never seemed to have a good day, and he told me, quote:

"Son, you need to realize that you usually have good days, and when you don't have a good day, that means you are having a better one..."

So, please have a good day today, and a better one tomorrow. We are all rooting for you, whether you are having good days or better ones.
