just got my first call on the Super A, meeting a local fellow tomorrow morning.
That took two days with nothing but putting it out front. Not even in CraigsList yet.
80 percent of my neighbors are an Alligood, and yes Mr. Alligood will be here tomorrow.
Seems to be a rite of passage locally. Sooner or later you'll own one, if only to drive up and down the back roads
with other old tractors out for a lark. The little rubber nipples on the new tires aren't even worn off yet, but the patina is all old tractor.
Seems to be two camps, either user or parade piece.

thankfully my little Farmall starts instantly due to the electronic conversion kit to 12V and a hot coil, and no points.
But she's a smoker. And a dripper. Probably most of them are.

thanks Drew for sending flowers, hospital stays are usually not much fun. I was certainly ready to get out of there when I had my back surgery. I would have gone home same day if I could.

Not sure if I shared this or not, but I was all prepared to unload the decking that came Tuesday using the forks on my tractor. I mistakenly read that they were bundled to a pallet (only the railings are, which I didn't get). The truck showed up and it had closed trailer with just back doors.. I had mower on and plan to add more weight if needed.. man o man was I ready. Nope, we unloaded 29 cartons of deck boards, total weight almost 1700lbs.. we were tired for sure and our help showed up just as we finished. We let them move the decking to back part of shop so I could put tractor away..

waiting for women, a skill most men take a while to figure out...

ok, a small natural flower arrangement made inside a ceramic tractor will be delivered to Randy's room tomorrow
in the hospital in Salisbury MD. He has been in for two weeks and future likely involves a heart operation.
Card says From Your TBN Friends
If I see you on my rv trip you can buy me a beer.

been an adventure this afternoon. First local water utilities has to replace my new leaking electronic transmitter out at main near road.
Blames everything on subcontractor and left area in a dug up mess. Worse it seems he cut the fiber optics line coming into my farm,
and that's why my land line has been down. Since I'm guessing this isn't the first time this has happened, phone guy said he would get in touch
with water dept. But before they traced the break, they replaced all the communication boxes outside and inside, got all the latest models.
Wonder if I'll get a bill for that...all of it worked fine, this was just a plain old cut line.

back to watching The Wire inside while it's 96/105 outside.

You're a good man Drew. Shiner Bock if you stop by. It's hot down here.

Just got back from a Texas road trip. We went and played in the clean, clear, cool (72F) spring waters in San Marcos and New Braunfels. Best of all, the parks we went to were free. The best water in the state for nothing. It is so refreshing. In between the 2 towns, the I35 Freeway temps got up to 107F.

Good evening all. 79F this morning, partly cloudy, light wind, Wind freshened up quickly, sky was variable in it's cloudiness, and high temp was 99F HI 109. Bike ride early this morning, then get ready for tomorrow's 65 miler. Wife found an interesting document. I hiked the Shiloh military trails when I was 14 yo and still in Boy Scouts. Hiked 88 miles in 6 days, answered 40-45 questions each hike, watch the same 30 minute movie each hike and read and report on Shelby Foote's novel "Shiloh". Thought Billy might get a kick out of that
Kyle that cherokee had the 260hp engine not the 300, and the engine was a wee bit tired. only flew it once after overhaul but performance was considerably better. :drink:
Rich good luck dealing with the engine problem, sorry about your day off.
Thomas, I'll bet Boo Boo is consulting with Yogi on how best to get your picnic basket!!
Buckeye, sorry about the bad night, hope you get your pain meds sorted out.
Drew thanks for the message from Randy, thanks for sending flowers, stop by and I will buy you dinner
Hawkeye sounds like a lot of work, especially when the tractor say I can help, please let me help :D
prayers for all
