I’ve had my Kioti 14 years, no reason to think I won’t keep LS that long as well. Of course I’d be 86 yo then

My poor Kioti started life having to live outdoors (as did my DX35), but my new LS will have a more pampered life spending time in the tractorshed or at least under the newly build shed roof at the rear.

Drew and others have posted about protecting their treasures via waxing etc. I’d appreciate any suggestions to get off on the right foot once delivered, before I get it dirtied.

Waxing is great. But covered storage is the best.

Tractors .... are meant to get dirty David. Mine stay under roof but .... no waxing. . They do get an occasional pressure wash though.

Only fair, you have me salivating over a skidsteer I can’t justify.

Speak of skidsteer, every yr i see this really steep bank mowed, and i wonder how they get a tractor to stick. Yesterday i saw them mowing it with a track skidsteer with mower on front. It looks to be close to 45degree.

Yup, never waxed a tractor and under cover is best. Unfortunately, stuff rusts even in my tractorshed, so hoping maybe going an extra step will have benefits.

Good evening all. 72F this morning, overcast, calm wind, and rain forecasted but none fell. Wind did get to a moderate level, sky improved to a partly cloudy, and high temp of 92F and humid. bike ride early this morning, then no mowing, too wet from dew. Lunch then nap, and work on trip prep. Did get some pics so I could post.
Phil, looks like termite damage and carpenter ant damage hard to tell apart.
Bil have a good trip.
PJ have to the Lemp mansion several times always good food/ times. Glad yours was too. Nice group.
Buckeye, don't mess around with the pneumonia, and every time you get it the easier you can get it again :thumbdown:

47 outside this AM. Heading to upper 70's. Nice and cool out. When the grass drys out trimming and pool cleaning on the agenda. Spent too much time on the mowers yesterday. Lol.
