Heading to 85 today. Kids are supposed to be coming to town today. Cutting grass every four to five days around here with the weather.

Mullbery trees are dropping fruit like I have never seen. I snack as I drive by them in the fields.

Nice tractor, David, LS looks to be a brand to be reckoned with. I see their presence is growing in my area.

Hope all have a great day.

56 right now and light rain...as predicted. High today will be about 70...and, more rain.
Got my chores done yesterday and, since it's raining...guess I'll catch up on some movies I'd recorded on the DVR.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 73°F this morning and 99% humidity. Forecasters say 92°F here this afternoon. Looks like tropical disturbance, in Mexico, may bring some rain mid to late week.

If wind stays calm today, I'll do some weed spraying, if not more wild flowers will be "slaughtered".

David got me thinking again about getting a flail mower, for the 55 HP LS, to keep front of our pastures looking like a "park" as required by my supervisor. I've got an 84" rear finish mower but, don't want to use it in our pastures. Spent time last night reading the Flail Mower Thread and the opinions of brands, and even knife types, are "all over the map".

My LS will easily power a Woodmax FM-78H with hydraulic side shift and hammer knives.

FM-78H Flail Mower | Flail Mower Attachment | Tractor Mower | PTO Mower | -WoodMaxx™

I'd prefer their FM-88H but, I'm just below the specified 50 HP at my PTO. I'm going to call them and see what they think about running the FM-88H on 44 HP @ PTO.

FM-88H PTO Flail Mower (88")

The hydraulic side shift would also be handy to cut around the perimeter of our two tanks without getting so close to the edge.

We're anxious to hear some good news from Randy.

Everyone have a great Sunday.

Prayers to all.

Thomas- Stacking 2 cords in this 塗eat is impressive. I hope the blackflies and deer flies do not make a feast of you. I burned less than 2 cords/year with the old wood stove. The new energy stove should burn less, I have almost 4 cords stacked. All my is at least 2 years old; most is 4. I did not buy any wood this year. I値l cut what I need for the following 2020-21Season.
.............................
Lucky temp was about low 70's and blackflies must have taken the day off.
Wood furnace would produce better if Mrs. would understand how it works.
We use to have BIG wood lot at another location but found out easier and cheaper to have wood cut split and deliver.

Since my earlier post, fog rolled in and visibility has dropped to about 1/4 mile or less. Even with no wind, spraying will be delayed until sun dries everything.

Oh well.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 59° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with partly cloudy skies. At 12:30 this morning I woke by a little dog barking and winning. Had to make a bathroom stop. Then checked on puppy. All that noise stopped as soon as I walked into room. So the 2 of us slept rest of night in lazy chair. Outdoor check did not find any real damage from hail. No real plans today. Hope to make it over too Kite Festival.

David, nice tractor. What happens to old tractor.

Don, sorry your wife got hurt by a Shih Tuz attack on Whipper. Hope she has recovered. Our problem with new dog is our older dog is not accepting her. She goes into hiding if new comes close. Hope that changes and they are sleeping together before to long.

Riptide, glad to hear you and wife a doing good.

Looking, safe travels at work.

Rick, I have all kinds of 3PH hydraulics. But very seldom use them. Mostly back blade and landscape rake. I would get 88" if your tractor is just a little short of PTO HP. But then I do not have tough TX grasses to cut.

Buckeye, my neighbors all have ZTR's with seat switch. I hear the mower blades start and stop when engine is at full speed. Mine does not do that. Seat switch does not work. I never replaced it. JD recommends when done for the day. Shut PTO off before slowing engine down to idle when shutting engine off. Not sure that helps any. But that's what I do. Couple neighbors have needed PTO clutch repairs.

Randy, get better soon. Prayers sent.

Drew, my front tires wore out quickly. Replaced with a set of Carlisle tires. Still holding up 15 years later.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.
