Good evening all. the high for the day was the starting temp, 74F. It was also overcast and moderate wind. Wind got very brisk, sky darken so much the photocell controlled lights came on. Had a few showers come through before the main event that started about 9:30AM. Temp dropped off to 63F then recovered to about 70F and about 2 inch in the gauge. No bike ride due to wind/rain, although the fishing tourney scheduled was not cancelled. Energy conservation day today, fishing trip scheduled in morning will take some pics.
David congrats on the first drill project and good luck on second.

Energy conservation sounds good mostly, maybe some tomorrow.

Storms passed us by. Kind of glad. Took my 13 yo daughter to the rodeo. One of her best friends won the "Queen" of the rodeo. Anyone remember The Byrds, Sweetheart of the Rodeo? 1968 Baby. Great vinyl album. But it didn't chart well due to the regular Byrd fans not liking country, and the Nashville folks not liking hippies.

Did some more tilling with the small Mantis tiller. It doesn't like it when the weeds get a foot long. Got our first cucumbers. Pulled up a potato plant and nothing but a few nodes. Red onions are looking great. Planted a blueberry bush. Did a very small amount of bush hogging and moved some sand. My FIL is buying a nice carport tall enough to house both tractors w/shredders and both Gators. I have the responsibility to try and scrape a flat area and get some road base/gravel down. I called and road base is $16.25/ton if you can haul it. Looking around for a small dump trailer to rent. I guess I'll need to call a dump truck....

Need to spray some bleach and chemical Jomax on the north side of my home to kill the moss. Was going to do it today but the winds never died down.

Houston Astros are on a hot streak. Only team close to them AFA the winning percentage is concerned are the Twins.

42 °F and going to a high of 54. Wind NE 15 gusting to 22 mph. Rain and T-storms.
The rain started yesterday evening and it is still raining. The warm temps and rain will cut away the rest of the snow.
The only good thing about the rain is it will wash the fertilizer into the crown of the downed tree. Being as it is so close to the weeping bed, I cannot dig it out, so the only option open to me is to rot it out.

The only plan for today is a dump run. We decommissioned two raised beds with trellises and one without yesterday. Loaded them all into the M101CDN2, and they will go to the dump today. This is the last dump run for the Jeep and trailer until it gets back from Timmins in the fall.

The rest of today will probably be loading Win 10 on the PC and sorting pics on the new laptop. We will see how it goes.

Other than that, it is a conserve energy day.

65 high of 90 storms possible later then cooler tomorrow before heat comes back

Lots of tractor time yesterday more brush about half way done. Helper did the work I hauled about 5 hours tractor time. Bandage trying to come off today it gets changed my first squeomous cell and he had to go deep hopefully got it all

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 55° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 76° with thunderstorms most of the day. Need to do some cleanup of garden pond this morning. The some time in barn working on wiring for LED lights on golf cart. Plan is to remove old wiring removed.

50 right now...high in the upper 70's and a good possibility of thunderstorms.
Mowing and trimming done yesterday...lawn looks great.
I also lopped some low hanging branches. Might rig the chipper today...we'll see how the weather holds.

another hot day, 93 at least. Swelling down some on left arm, thankfully. Sure am glad I keep leftovers from prescriptions in the med cabinet.
Stuff four or five years old still works pretty well. I always seem to get something on the weekends anyway when no one is available.

need to do a little foodshopping today, then not sure what I'll get into other than watering something.

Buppies, man I feel for you. Heal quickly.

I rate skin cancer in three levels.
1. "normal" basal cell pre cancerous blotches that get taken off just to be safe
2. Squamous cell cancer, get it taken care of immediately or else
3. Melanoma: get thee to a hospital today
I'm at about 10-3-2 Not good numbers at all...so far I've been lucky with the melanomas, but they took a piece
of my back out the size of a deck of cards on one. If they don't get the margins, all they've done is make it worse.
Very important for all of us to see a dermatologist regularly.
When living in South Florida, I think about every fifth medical office was a dermatology or cosmetic surgery office.

Have been fiddling with a few of my arthritis meds, trying to reduce what I take a little, then watch what happens.
Did my pill boxes this morning and wrote everything down including dosage sizes, will update the list I carry on me and hand out
to docs.

Going to take it easy today, hope you all have a nice Sunday
