Thomas have exercises to do twice a day with 2 pounds of weight four different exercises 15 reps each. I was always taught three sets or ten or five sets of five, do not know where 15 came from

I found that if the exercise hurts after doing the number of sets they recommended. It's time to cut back until you are able to do the number requested. Doing smaller sets seemed to work better for me. As time went on I was able to do the larger number. But did exhaust me more than 3 sets of 5. Sometimes I have to remind Dr's and PT people that I am 76 years old. There comment is "you don't look it".

Ron I’m involved enough in each club to the extent of participant only. The problem solvers officers go to the experienced. A lot of them have been here 15-20 years this place runs very smooth.

Our grand daughter sent us picture of her new car. GGD is in picture. I would have a smile like that to.

ood Morning Everyone!!!!

A rainy CT morning. It is definitely Spring here in CT. An uneventful trip down to CT yesterday. We drove by an old circa 1740’s Inn still in business. I’ve known about this place and have eaten there in the past. It is very haunted with at least 5 different ghosts living there. I am going to try to convince Wifey that we should stay there for an overnight. Mr. Knee and Mr. Ankle are complaining this AM.

...life is good.”- Rich. I am happy to read that a cooler head prevailed.

“…. I did, thanks! Nice people, good food, all good.
Just like Rich says, life is good.”- Drew. I am happy your dinner party went so well.

Buppies- I am happy to read that your PT session went well; sorry to read about the following day pain. I do not think that this storm system is helping aging bodies. :(

Eric- Thanks for sharing your world.

“… if you can get useful improvements in range of motion and strength through therapy, you may be ahead of the game!”- RNG. +100

GAP- That fox despite its injuries looks to be in fairly decent shape thanks to you. I may test my Sister’s bandwidth later.

RonJH- Nice car; cute GGD. Thanks for sharing.

I like many have PT ROM and strength building exercises and am learning that it hurts to do them and hurts even worse not doing them.

I hope that everyone is having a decent Passover and Easter weekend.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Up in the back field, having taken water to the animals. Doing a check of the electric fence to make sure deer didn't damage it. Tiger loves running around hunting field mice or perhaps rabbits. Not that he gets any...

The Goldoni has its replacement metal seat after the old one broke off some weeks ago. Having a seat to sit on while driving is a luxury you don't appreciate till its gone!IMG_20190420_163903703.jpegIMG_20190420_161225777.jpeg

Good morning to all! Low was at 40ish yesterday and today, went up to 78 yesterday, forcasted 76 today, but getting breezy this afternoon.

Daughter arrived late Thursday night (as usual running her clinic for 3 days). She reported having a "weird problem" with her brakes on the jeep. So I went out at 6am to see if there was an obvious problem..... I thought I saw oil on the rear wheel....Oh No....bad seal/bearing....
So told the daughter to take our car to work, I 'll dig into it and see what's wrong. Got dressed and headed out to check...pulled the suspected wheel....WHAT? No oil present....it was just condensation and road grime...MMMMM...caliper? Nope. Brake pads? Nope. Then noticed that both rear tires were almost bald just in the center of the tire, like they were seriously overinflated. Front ones were great...lots of tread left, no abnormal wear...????
She's supposed to drive down to Denton Tx. tommorow for a 3 day trip. So just started going over everthing...found nothing wrong, broken, or out of place...??? I had another set of all terrain tires/wheels from my jeep. Decided to swap her tires with mine. I forgot how heavy/big my tires were. Man, I struggled getting them on. Did one...rest...do another...rest. Took a few hours. Her jeep doesn't have a lift, the tires just fit, barely. Took it out for a test drive...all good. OK.
I knew my tires needed rebalancing done. They have lifetime balancing from Discount Tire. Decided to drive the jeep into town to get them done. Went 40 miles into town to find that they were closed.....went to another one...closed also.
Well, couldn't make it a wasted trip....Harbor Freight here I come. Got some 3/4" shackles for $6.99, and a wiring harness for LED lights for $20. Couple of freebees. Drove back home, cleaned up/put away the tools. WAIT A MINUTE....
I forgot about a couple of things that I had from my jeep to put on hers... Put those on...wow, now it's 6:45...I'm done...just plain wore out...
It was all worth it....daughter was surprised beyond belief with her jeep! It always nice to help your kids.
