Couldn't get on this morning..... stupid "error... can't find that" kept coming up.....

Low last night was 28°, high hit 50° today. Heavy clouds all day.... looked like they were going to drop a lot of rain.... nope! Maybe some light sprinkles overnight tonight.

Don, yes, we got 2 Apple checks yesterday. Another class action suit card came in the mail too, this one for Verizon..... maybe another $100....

Drew, make sure you bring those CD's with you on your trip out west.... funny that I spent about 4 hours the other day on YouTube watching Clapton, the Byrds, etc... all the old classic rock. Saw a video of the Moody Blues singing 'Knights in White Satin'.... after watching, I felt really old.....

Does anyone ever listen to 'Yanni' ? I like just about every song. Different music for sure....

I feel like a "loaf" today.... a trip into town this morning, then nothing more than putting the Hess trucks up on the shelf. Then just loafed around....

Paul, I bet the biplane is a hoot to fly! Do you do and stunts with it? Occasionally on Saturday mornings, there is a biplane from our local small airpark that puts on a good show for us. Loops, barrel rolls, and vertical stalls. I like the stalls the best. I am surprised at how loud it is. But, that's how we know he's out there!

Make coffee, and revitalize the insert after ash grooming. worked on estate paperwork, I will have one more go at finding trust before handing off paperwork to lawyer to reconstruct trust. Took Covid test, still positive . No ride or nap today.
Ron Hope your tax work was productive. Hope mother nature melted the ice. Nice woodpecker.

Billy hope you can get some firewood cut soon. Sorry you got so cold, if you were cold when trying to remove canister that will make you weaker. Hope you warmed up ok.

Bill hope the plug cleaning goes well. After you put it back together you might turn on power and blower fan an move wires aroun and see if motor cuts out.

Thanks mostly! She was a devout Christian lady and we are all comfortable with her future. The thing I will miss most is her telephone calls out of the blue "just to check on" me.

mostly, it is in the game plan to do the plug and then pull the roof off and check under there before i reconnect the plug. Probably have a coffee in between the deoxit and the dielectric grease. If there is enough room, I will put heat shrink tubing over both ends of the plug and shrink it down but not over the plug itself. It is hard to explain how I am going to do it. Thursday, Friday and Saturday will all be around the 34°F mark. Plan is to do it Friday.

Mostly, burn permit all set for the year .
The Mrs voted absentee this election, she didn’t feel up to standing in line. A lot fewer people than I expected but that gave me a chance to chat with some of the poll workers, good folks. Coffee/donut was good, donut was chocolate with chocolate frosting and chocolate shavings on top, yes chocolate is one of my weaknesses lol.

I hope you can kick this Covid thing to the curb soon.

Snow cleanup today, although it’s supposed to rain tonight and be close to 50° tomorrow, but I’ve been caught in that trap before where it rains and never warms up lol.

Cup of coffee has been poured. 32° with fog this morning. Heading to 37° with rain. Got tax papers ready for filing. Still need 2 more documents. Snow is slowly melting. Drive and walkways are nothing but slush. Got shovel out and cleaned slush off main walkway to garage. May do path to 2 barns today.
Woodpecker is pecking bark off this dying tree. Took this picture when it first started. Today it is clean of bark all the way around tree.

We went to see Traffic play at William and Mary right after Low Spark was released...great concert...but a real treat was JJ Cale opening the show.

Don, you got me curious about Duolingo. I'm on my 6th or 7th day now. Pretty interesting all the little incentives used to keep one going. I'm studying French...still planning a trip to Quebec City, a historic place I've always wanted to visit.

Of my plans for yesterday, I got the hiking part done..."saved" the rest of the plan for today.

off for Bethel NY, I stayed and worked. I'm an a/c and toilets guy, probably would not have worked out well.

Had to run up the road yesterday, plumbing issue at my late fathers place. Which is in a probate gray area. Lots of water.

Good morning! 51˚F, .55" rain since midnight, dense fog advisory and a North wind. It will stay in the low 50s all day with occasional rains.

Today is my final knee Dr. visit and , next week final PT session. No PT this week. Less swelling after use and no pain walking. There is still numbness at the surgical site that will never go away but a vast improvement from before surgery, no cane or walker needed, no limping, no use for my handicap placard that I think I used twice right before and after surgery. Yea!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).
43.0F going to low 50s, damp misty foggy drizzly day in store.

Getting ready for another fun-filled, adventure packed day in the cube. It’s our Friday - looking forward to being off tomorrow. Terminix annual and quarterly inspection tomorrow morning, then admin stuff and lunch in town. Woodlot will be a muddy mess, but if there is a break in the precip we will go and harvest sap.
