Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.9C (yep, the wood-heater is back on) and it's presently 16.6C, calm with a high overcast. There was 1.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

Minimum damage from the wind from the past couple of days. Pretty much sticks to pick up.

Not much planned for today. I've already put the flagpole back up. Tonight I have a meeting in town at 1700 with a hoped for return by 2130... sometimes the discussions are robust and become 'extended', but that's the purpose of these meetings. Our guest speaker is a Senator and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

lots of sugar in a half-gallon of Kahlua — I would be downing one or two MultiMega-B Vitamin capsules every other drink, especially if on a mission to kill the bottle… it will make a huge difference in the morning!!!!

The jug is dead. I am also smoking some good black hash. I wont have a hangover in the morning and if I do by some slim chance I will just fire up another bowl.
I got a phone call this afternoon from my boss, I don't need to be anywhere until 'maybe' Sunday afternoon. I will stop smoking Saturday.
I never felt the hit, but I did hear it and looked back just in time to see the rear tire fly up into the air about 30 or so feet. If anybody wants it, it is 3/4 of a mile north/west of the junction of hwys 11/17 and 61 in Thunder Bay.

I found the pics of the damage that I can post.
The first pic is looking forward from the rear of the pup. The second one is looking towards the rear of the train including the tridem under the joint. My tractor is behind me in the second pic.
We are guessing about 50 grand parts AND labour including taxes.
The guy took his 1500 lb car and picked on 139,000 lbs. That is why I didn't feel a thing. If I was empty, then I might have felt it, but I wouldn't have been doing 55 mph either, more like 65. He would have gotten one of the cars behind me.

Good evening all. 72ºF for the start, overcast sky, moderate breeze. Moderate wind with some brisk gusts, After thunder cell missed us(no rain), sky cleared off. High temp was 90ºF, HI 95ºF. Men's meeting to start day, then mess with gopher (he is back). Did some wood restacking, almost done with that, probably have enough for this year. Did get bike riding clothe hung up after wifey washed them. Sinus drainage start Sunday, still going on, does mess with motivation.

60 going up to 82 in Washington NC
slept wonderfully, looking forward to last dry day for awhile.
weather forecast is worrisome, lots of rain and gale warnings for high winds. Exactly what I don't want to be driving in. Hopefully a call today will get me in early tomorrow. If not, may decide to stay here another day. I can get rained on here just as well as there....of course no refunds. So Scott, unfortunately my luck has changed on the weather.

today I'm headed out on e bike to explore this state park, hopefully find the path down to the river. Also going to flush tanks this afternoon so I don't have to do it in pouring rain tomorrow. A friend is stopping by for lunch, nothing else planned for today since my other friend is sick.

Yesterday was coffee roasting day...until the grass dried, and then it was mowing day. Seems like the hydraulic fluid replacement job I did the day before was a success. The sad thing about doing the 400 hour routine maintenance is that after spending that much time and money, it drove and cut just like before...although when I changed out the fuel filters recently, it did perform much better.

Still need to mow the Coco frisbee field, and do some chainsaw work before the rain arrives Friday.
