It Was a pot pet meeting by the pet club.
A speaker was there talking about the benefits of CBD oil for your anxious pet. We are going to try some on Whipper and see if she can tolerate the golfers better.

Anyone give their pets CBD oil or is it just the city dogs that get stressed?

We give ours CBD oil but for health / digestive balance not anxiety. However, it is highly recommended for that. Ours doesn't have any THC in it, but the stuff that does I'm sure would help!

While humidity can be a problem with forced air. My furnace has a humidifier built in to it. Controlled by digital thermostat. Makes a big difference in air quality.

So I made note this morning. RESIN. Hmm. Then used it in my duct work notes. Wrong.
I think we discussed this some time ago. A lot depends on how the water is before it enters resin for softening. Also when regeneration is done. My softener has 2 resin tanks. It uses softened water to regenerate. My system is over 20 years old with same resin. We have hard water. But it is not acidic like many areas of the country has. We do have some iron in it. Using iron out gets rid of that.

26°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 43°. Looking forward to the 50s and 60s this weekend. What a contrast from below zero just a couple of days ago.

I've almost always lived in houses with forced air heating/cooling. The sole exception was the first year of my first marriage, we lived in a small studio apartment in downtown St. Louis with radiator heat and a wall unit air conditioner.

Flying. I've always wanted to. I have several friends who flew powered parachutes and fixed wing ultralights back in the '90s. I almost bought a fixed wing trike once, but decided to spend the money on a new custom bass guitar instead. I've also considered over the last few years the idea of building an experimental aircraft. There's a company in Mexico MO called Zenith Aircraft who makes a couple of neat models you can build from a kit. They do all the machining, and you just do the assembly. Again, I'd rather spend the money on music equipment, so probably also not going to happen. Would be fun, though, to have a small STOL aircraft I could take off and land from my pasture.

The low was 12° this morning. Yesterday was a repeat of the day before. Today is going to be about the same, mid 30's partly cloudy with a 10-15 mph wind. Every time I look at the forecast it changes. Now they are saying a chance of snow on Tuesday.

No plans for today, maybe I'll find something do in the garage.

Drew, check out a site "cbdMD.com" They are based in Kentucky, but actually ship from your home state of NC. Their products are legal in all 50 states. Wifey swears by the cbd for her degenerated discs and her osteoarthritis. Does not contain any THC.

In Texas CBD oil with THC can only be prescribed ONLY to epileptic children that don't respond to other drugs and has to have two Doctors prescribe it. For these children it has proven 84% effective. It was just passed in 2018 by the state legislature.

One of our Border Collies (Neve - pronounced Neh-Vee) is fairly obnoxious. I call her Crazy Dog. She gets anxious about just about anything. Her biggest problem is that she wants 100% of Mommy's attention, and can't stand it if one of the other dogs or cats is getting it instead. When The Wife has a Boarder or a Board-and-Train in the house (as we currently do), she gives Neve a pill called Zylkene in one of those smelly pill pockets. No idea what it is, but it's supposed to be all natural. Whatever it is, it definitely keeps her calm, without turning her into a zombie (or a pothead :laughing.
