Kyle, did the news paper shed any light on the police action on your property?

Which agency was out there? Federal, State, County or City?

There was a car that the LEO ran the plate on that came back stolen, when the LEO tried to pull him over, he bolted. They just said he ditched the car somewhere on our road or just past it, and took off on foot. So it was a car thief. I did not get a look at him. Usually the gangs will let under 16 year olds do the stealing, so if they get caught, they won't get a long sentence.

I saw about 4 county SUV's, and one State trooper SUV. But I did not go down past our place to see how many more were there. I hope the brat got poison ivy. :)

Hoping Hawaii is battening down the hatches.

Today, my buddy and I tore apart our company's Craftsman table saw motor. When turned on, it would just turn slow rpm. We checked the run and start capacitors the best we could. I believe the motor is a 1.5 or 2 hp. We took off the end cap that has the fan under it, took off the fan blade to get to a set of centripetally actuated contact breakers. Ahhhh, they were a bit burnt looking. Nothing some emery cloth couldn't handle. Got them cleaned up and put everything back together and presto magico, it runs beautifully. The breakers, IIRC, switch the power from the start capacitor to the run capacitor. But, when burned, not much of nothing gets through.

Then, I helped another co-worker start rebuilding an Edwards vacuum pump. Similar to this:

Edwards Direct-drive rotary vane vacuum pump, dual mode, 2.3 cfm, 115/22 VAC from Cole-Parmer

I have another one (pump) to do on Monday. Plus, re-install the table saw motor.

It is still hot and dry down here. 103F some showers got close yesterday, but my dry soils scared the clouds away.

Roy, where you been?

Drew, I can't believe one of these guys up around you can't "hook" you up with someone. It might be hard to find that gal that is healthy and has plenty of her own money, but she may be out there. I vote you stay on regardless of your situation.

Glad y'all got some rain LS.

PJ, how are those peaches?

RNG, I believe you may have to do some studying on the codes the van is throwing. The codes are typically grouped depending on what is wrong. There's a wealth of info on them online, and this is where you might can help.

Yep, we’re in a “rain repel” zone too Kyle. A bit over 1/4” total in July and August.

Good evening all. 73F this morning, clear sky, calm wind. Sky stayed clear till sunset, frisky wind, and high temp of 99F. Played golf this morning, very slow round for around here (5 hours). My team placed middle of the pack, and we have fun. This is a good way to meet more of the guys that play, need to start going to fishing meetings
David glad to here your biggest problem is on your tractor :drink:
Buckeye, that post reminded me of unix short hand:eek:
RNG that pine sounded like a rude surprise, I always lean a lot when researching troubles codes in your case more challenging if you don't know the model year etc of car.
Rip, sorrow about your lose, my condolences to you and your family.
Ed looking forward to turning pics.
Prayers for all.

51 this morning and made it to 81 today. Very low humidity.

Cut hay yesterday. Maybe it’ll bale tomorrow or Saturday.

Placed birds today. Had wife’s car fixed. The actuator for the dual climate control was bad. Driver had hot air. Everyone else had cold. Then at the boys equine therapy Dad calls. Lost an old cow. He was trying to put some condition on her before selling her. Neighbor had a mini excavator for him to barrow and a gooseneck to haul it on. But Dad only has a 1/2ton so no gooseneck. So I went and moved it for him. He dug the hole. I covered it up. Really was nice and relaxing to be back on an excavator again been 10 years and I was a bit rusty for some reason.

All stay safe and well.
