Good Morning!!!! An even 70F this morning at 6:00 AM.
A good deal of sunshine. High 89F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice to read some good news here in the GM thread!

Lately I've been seeing a pair of jackrabbits in the overnight security cam videos. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it probably means I'll be seeing little jackrabbits in not too long. I've also been seeing a pair of foxes hanging out, so maybe it'll all balance out?

On the last trip, I noticed that the "air cannon" horn on the zebra bike sounded more like a wounded goose than a cannon. This is the third one I've had, and all three failed prematurely. A few years ago I put a pair of Hella horns on the van, and they're nice and loud, and sound nothing like a goose. Yesterday the cannon goose made it into the trash can, and a new pair of the Hellas were wired in, ready for the next careless driver that tries to come into my lane. Yeah, that happens at least once on almost every trip.

The annual Airheads campout in Sequoia National Park is this coming weekend, and Wednesday I'm headed out to meet up with some friends in SoCal for the ride over. Looking forward to some cooler temperatures and dry weather (for a change).

I suppose that's because their migration is at the same time as "baby boom". Statistics show that in March there are born a bit more babies than ususally. Parents went wild ad mid-summer drinking parties and lovely surprise were delivered 9 months later

Supposedly 55F and cloudy @ 11:30, but the sun has been out ... appears it might be going away now. Only calling for a high of 57F today and 58 tomorrow. Might not be too bad if sun stays out. Well below normal temps.

Got networking devices hooked up last night and they appeared to be working. Some of the LED's are currently off on both so will need to explore that later today.

Have to run over to friends in a few and pick up tools.

Rain chances reduced (<25%) after tomorrow in the Ten Day which looks promising.

Likely get a haircut today.

Probably refill bird feeders and check live trap.

Unsure what else will be on the agenda.

The sun is shining

I spent almost 3 hrs in dentist chair this morning. Pure torture. When they stand me on my head to work on me, it’s tough to breath.
He cut out 2 old crowns, because of an issue in between them. Patched it all up and put in a temp crown that combines the 2 teeth. He said it will be painful when the medication wears off, which is starting. My whole side of the face is starting to throb.

I ended up getting all my teeth pulled a couple years ago. Worst part was pulling the molars from my jaw...thought they were going to pull my jaw out of my mouth...

Haven't posted for a while. Don't know - you missed me or enjoyed

If I should wrote a essay "how I have spent my summer" it would be a hell of a story.

Anyway - after little surgery health is good again. Thanks God and doctors !
Had to adapt my diet, but just for a while. Now again I almost gave up with healthy eating. And "no beer" is no more a thing

And you guys - how have you spent your summer ? Everybody still kicking ?

That was the send off picture when the 1968 Unimog 404 went to a new owner. I had this for 20 years and got it as a surplus truck from the Belgian military. It still had Belgian plates on it
