Good morning!!!!

lots more coming hopefully Ed, but I never know. Now the Okra is starting to pour in. Each day the haul increases. When all thirty plants are pumping out, I think I'll need a big pail.

I came in at three, 99 degrees out, got cleaned up, had an ice cream cone to cool off, and then chilled out. Just went out in relative cool of evening and gave Subaru a good overdue scrub.
Might be last time I do this as I got a message saying my Audi was built Friday before last so maybe two to three weeks out.

I found some really weird local meat that I just had to take a picture of.
But I also picked up a couple of boneless prime rib steaks for tomorrow that looked much more appealing
than this concoction. I grew up with scrapple, another heart annihilator, and just can't eat that any more, no matter
how crisp you make it. Feel like I'm injecting fat into my veins.
I'd need a nuclear winter before I ate this stuff....

Good evening all. 80F for the start, mostly clear, and light wind. Clouds increased till noon, then cleared off, wind was erratic today, and high temp today was, you guessed it 100F. High pressure is supposed to break down Wednesday, but even if it does, heat index will still be 96-98F. Also had a trace of rain last night after posting. Started off with choir, then mowed lawn, lunch and nap. Got notified boat is at dealer, they expect to have it ready for pickup tomorrow.
Don, where is this mythical triathlon bike?:confused3:
Prayers for all.

92 today heat index was 104. Currently 79 and I’m sitting here sweating as hard as earlier.

Currently watching a water tank fill. It has feed trays in it for helper to wash tomorrow. We’ll let them soak overnight then he’ll hose them off.

Well 20 acres of hay cut and tedded yesterday. Baled 77 bales today still about 4 acres left to bale. Was still too green and wet to bale. Pushed some that was a little wet but by letting them set for a couple of weeks in the field they’ll be fine. They’ll go through their first heat and if one gets too hot it’ll just burn 1 bale not the whole crop. But I didn’t bake them that green.

Still about 5 acres to cut.

Should be enough for this winter, with my leftovers.

Calf that was delivered to butcher last week weighted 995 lbs. He was 17 months old. Should be some good lean meat.

I went to check on it today and the bike shop was closed - Sunday and Monday. Stay tuned.
The bike shop said the handlebars alone are worth $100, you know the kind that that the ends meet together in front of the bike, one continuous loop - can't find a pic of them on the internet - they must be rare. But I bet Ed could mill one.

I did start the spinning class today inside, 101 outside, and pretended to race you for 25 minutes on a cool fall day. How many miles are you from Georgetown?

l Just went out in relative cool of evening and gave Subaru a good overdue scrub.

That Subaru does look good. I just spent $1000 on my Subaru Forester for it's 90K maintenance (at 100k miles) and a new set of tires. . . but I sure could use a navigation on board in this new area. I have a Garmin but the screen is too small and my wife has to do the navigating.

Someone really knows how to mess up the word - pudding.

Good morning all , weather is stuck in goundhog day mode. In the almost never ending winter, I never thought I would be getting bored by all this sunshine.

Good luck if you have to go baling damp Farmer - hay making is so much easier in England :D Seriously though, it's getting bad here for many with livestock. No grass growing, some are having to start using next winters feed already.

Drew, so you weren't tempted by Pender's pudding ?
There is no better place than Good morning to stimulate the mind in unexpected directions, I certainly didn't expect to be asking Google "how much does a pig's spleen weigh" while eating breakfast. (Some answers here Spleens)

Sorry Don, that paper doesn't seem to have any pudding recipes :)

76 now. Expect 96 with a heat index of 100 or so. Yesterday was nice. Decided to throw a chair into the pool and sat there for a good long while. Today need to move some wood around and take some measurements on the run-in.
Have a great day all. Be safe and stay cool.

Good morning all, 71 going to 92 with a 20% chance of T-storms. Supposed to be in the 70's by the weekend, glad for that. Need to work on the other bag of corn today, also need to get the boy's CD changer set up. He loves his music.

Don, the handle bars would likely be bent tubing and not machined but thanks for the vote of confidence.

Praying that everyone has a great day and for healing for those in need. Ed
