Need to pour first cup of coffee. 38ー with rain this morning. Heading to 53ー with rain all day. Snow that is left on ground is tough. Not melting. Today's rain should help get rid of most of it.

Got a message back from seller of PTO. He sent information on how to set up clutch for my tractor. It is a disk type spring. instead of 8 die type springs. Going get it on tiller today. From sellers explanation Amazon chose him to be my seller from a list of people selling a similar PTO shaft. The pictures and description are from another seller. Leaves me leery of some of Amazons practices. But all is good this time.

Drew, our normal time to plant is Memorial Day weekend. Even that can be a problem. Lost all our tomato plants to frost on June 10th one year.

Buppies, Piloon has it right. Longest parking lot in North America. Most of the 401 is 3 lanes it's whole length. Except around Toronto. One trip from the West side of town near Milton. Took 4 hours to get to Bowmanville. 70 miles away. The 407 is a toll road north of 401. You pay a toll to sit in traffic for the same amount of time as on the 401. I spent a lot of time in and around Toronto servicing machines the company I worked for built.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

Sounds like Toronto has the same problem as Washington DC, as soon as they had the Beltway widened, it was already inadequate and utterly
nuts during commuter time. It was bad forty years ago when I commuted on it.

Where did the "eh?" come from in the Canadian language? Seems to have made its way into New England too...
The Western Canadian coastal area always attracted the Asians. I doubt they are saying "eh?" :D Maybe.
Just like you can't compare California with New Jersey.
first time I heard eh? I thought the person couldn't hear me well...

Northern, Michigan is just as bad.
Do know how the name CANADA from.

When asked what too name the country many years ago. Someone said. C eh! N eh! D eh! . Please don't blame this on me. A Canadian told me this story. :D

Better explanation of the name.

The name of Canada has been in use since the founding of the French colony of Canada in the 16th century. The name originates from a Saint-Lawrence Iroquoian word kanata (or canada) for "settlement", "village", or "land".

I have a Canadian accent eh. This is true.

28 going to 50.

We went to visit my mom in Virginia beach yesterday and had a grand time...got home too late last night.

Was planning on taking Coco to the mountains today, but checked the forecast and it is snow and freezing rain, so we just finished a short hike here.

We say half mast, and the flags I saw yesterday weren't at half mast, but saw some nice aircraft carriers at Norfolk Naval base and fighter jets doing touch and go at Oceana in Virginia Beach. I always feel proud seeing these.
